We have only used it once but I already love it. We had an EZ Up before and this one blows it out of the water! The frame seems much sturdier and canopy material seems thicker and better quality. The mechanism to raise the top is a much easier design with a button instead of a pull-pin type and it has three different height settings. The canopy fabric has extra reinforcements to prevent frame from rubbing holes in it, strong velcro and a top vent for good airflow. It also comes with nylon cording and links attached to outside to anchor, but we didn't use these since we have tent weights. I also LOVE the bag it comes with!! It must have been designed by a woman because it ACTUALLY FITS THE TENT IN IT!! 😊😊😊 It is expandable with an extra zipper, allowing you to put the tent in, zip it up with plenty of room and then shrink the bag up with the extra zipper for a tight fit. We left the canopy on with plenty of room. There's also a pocket to keep stakes in inside, wheels for easy transport (good thing cuz it's heavy), and sturdy handles. Very pleased with my purchase, money well spent.

This is a good quality portable canopy. We do a couple ministry events each year and the last canopy collapsed from the wind. This canopy is much heavier than many of the portables but your not going to get strength and light weight. It does come with a good quality roller bag. We set this up and used it during another windy day and it did GREAT!
I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Above and Beyond Customer Service
The canopy is working exactly as advertised. It comes ready to use and it's easy to set up and provides us exactly the right amount of shade. But that's not why its getting 5 Stars. One of the center support bars broke on me. It was my fault. Strong winds had lifted the canopy over my fence and upside down....They provide stakes to stake it down to avoid just this sort of thing but, of course, I hadn't used them. When I tried to capture the runaway canopy in the rain, I failed to properly close it up and forced one of the legs to move in a way it was not intended to move...and so one of the center supports broke. I contacted Abba directly to see if they could send me the support arm. It would be easy to replace. At first they said they couldn't do it but then they said they could and asked for my address. They never told me a price so I was thinking how nice of them to send me the piece without making me pay for it...what a great company. However, that's not happened....they sent us a BRAND NEW CANOPY! The whole thing....So I took the support arm off what they sent me and fixed my canopy. I'm kidding - It threw that broke one in the trash and set up the new one! Thank you so much - that was so much more than the best I could have expected. Thank you.

I have owned many pop up awnings and this one is by far the finest. Great material. Heavy gauge metal that is powder coated. Modern latches for opening and closing. Color as described matching our travel trailer perfect. Wind had not effect on this awning. If has the feel of quality that will last a long time. Like I said best ever.

Not good for the beach
I decided on this canopy almost solely based upon the great reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was so-so. It arrived quickly (prime) and out of the box it was nice looking and seemed to be of excellent quality. Day 1 I set it up in my side yard flush with the side of my home during my daughter's birthday party. No wind at all and it of course held up well and served its purpose. Day 2 we set it up at the nearby beach with very light winds. Within one hour one of the plastic joints in the sidewall had snapped. The sidewall was now flexing pretty badly so I decided to just put the canopy away. Upon placing the canopy back in the bag, I noticed that one of the plastic roof joints was damaged as well. This was less than 4 hours of total use and within 48 hours of delivery.
For very light use I think this is a good buy, but nowhere near the durability I was hoping for. I returned it and ordered a more expensive brand with cross supports for the sidewall. Hoping for better results.

GET IT IF YOU WANT SOMETHING THAT WILL LAST!!!
Great quality - easy to put together - no issues... YOU NEED those sand bag things that go on the feet - or use actual sand bags. Only reason I say that is because you never know what kind of ground you will be dealing with... we used this on a grassy area where the ground was very hard and could not even get the stakes into the ground - not the fault of this product ie quality of the stakes. The bag to store away or use to get to the site is great quality. HAD ZERO problems with this pop up. I expect it to last for a heck of a lot longer than any of the store ones or cheaper companies. I went to a windy event... almost EVERYONES tents got trashed - NOT MINE! HAHA! Recommended!

Had hoped it would be better since it is steel and not aluminum
Just used this for the third time and a piece broke in half. Was loving this after the first two uses. Had hoped it would be better since it is steel and not aluminum. Hoping they will send replacement.
Update - Changed to 3 stars as Abba sent a new one since original broke. They were very quick with their reply.

WOW, what a TENT!!!
Using two people, this tent was a snap to put up! I have not taken it down yet as I am using it as a covering over my backyard patio. The quality of this tent is EXCELLENT! I did not anchor the tent using stakes as it sits on cement, but I did purchase 4 King Canopy INAWB400 17-Inch Weight Bags and filled them with sand, one bag per pole.
We get very strong/high winds from time to time in Las Vegas and to my amazement this tent and the weight bags have withstood about 5 different occasions of very high/strong winds that lasted anywhere from 1-5 days. per instance. The tent kept on standing and the canopy shows no signs of tears or rips! It has excellent ventilation, that keeps the tent from pulling off and the canopy has kept any items stored under it from water damage due to rain.
Can't say enough good things about this tent and how happy I am with the quality, the service and price!!

Attractively designed and easy to setup. Canopy tension Needed a small fix. (solution below)
I bought this to cover a spa and it works well for that. I had a small problem with the canopy collecting water, but I fixed it.
PROS: It has a nice design that's not too much like a circus tent, so less of a roof pitch. The fabric isn't too thick, but thick enough. The tan and black colors blend well into my desert backyard. Setup is is very easy.
CONS: This isn't meant to be a permanent structure, so support/guide wires are necessary to hold up to wind and storms if you're leaving it out like me. It's gone through multiple Arizona monsoon thunderstorms, though, and held up well except for a problem water shedding problem.
CANOPY FIX: During a slow rain, the horizontal part of the frame can bow inwards during wind gusts. That allows water to start collect in a pouch and not run off. The result has been up to 25 lbs of water collecting near the edge. That happened three times before I fixed it correctly.
I first tried to fix this by tying a guide wire to the pull on the horizontal section of the side that had bowed inward. I also pulled the corners down to tighten the canvas. Unfortunately, that didn't work. That same night, a pouch formed again on another side of the canopy.
What did work was increasing the overall tension in the canopy by placing a spacer at the apex. I used a spa float, but a small ball would work too.
I've included pictures of where it used to collect water and how the tension spacer tightens these sagging areas. After putting in the spacer, we got a .75" thunderstorm and all the water shed perfectly. Note in the pictures that the spacer also allowed the rafters to bow outward and tighten the whole profile of the canopy. As of now, I can say it holds up to Arizona thunderstorms pretty well.
SUMMARY: I'd buy another one, but I would probably get the thicker fabric than 300D.

Tough, rugged and great looking!
This thing is tough and rugged. It blew over the 1st day I had it because of a 50 mph Haboob. It didn't tear the canopy, bent a few bolts, but I replaced them. You must get the Heavy Duty ABC canopy sand bags. I have had to take the canopy down twice because of strong winds of 40 mph +, it can be done without taking the frame down and in about 5 mins if your guy lines aren't in crazy knots. I suggest using larks head knots for quick release. I use this to park my car under every day and I am really pleased with the quality.
