This scale is freaking awesome. It arrived faster than expected
This scale is freaking awesome. It arrived faster than expected. Mine is black, it is a little heavy. The screen is nice and easy to read. Setup is super simple. You can transfer data to your phone with Bluetooth or Wifi. It tells you weight, fat and water percentage, weather, and heart rate. When you stand on it, the screen shows you where you are placing most of your weight. So if you are leaning too much on your toes or heels, the scale will indicate that with a set of arrows. Until you adjust, your weight won't be calculated. There is an interesting feature called Pulse Wave Velocity. You have to weigh yourself 5 times in a row to get your wave number. In a graph it show the health of your heart compared to others in your age group. When you lose weight it show that as well. I'm satisfied.

Usually works well
My only complaints are that it occasionally can't figure out my heart rate (and gives up on it) and that I'm a little skeptical about some of the readings.
When I first used it, my body fat was measured at 6% for a few readings and ever since it's always come up at < 3%. I'm thin, but I'm not an athlete, and I don't have an eating disorder either.
My friend also uses my scale and his body fat currently measures around 25%. His measurement has been steadily falling over the past few months as he's been losing weight, so at least that part seems right.
Seriously, though, 3% for me? Wouldn't I be dead?

I love everything about this scale
I love everything about this scale, except the one thing I bought it for. Having weighed myself almost everyday for a week I have only got the Pulse Wave measurement once. The day I got it I did the 5 weigh-ins and got a measurement after about the 7th time. That was the last time I got it to measure it. I have tried all their tips to get it to work to no avail. I'm returning it and going to get their other body comp scale.

I love the fact I can use this scale on carpet and it automatically reports the data to my smartphone via a 3rd party app. It does have a couple annoyances like setting it up to begin with, so many extra display settings I don't care about, and of course the 3rd party app. I would probably give this 5 stars if I didn't have to use the Withings app and it imported everything directly into Google Fit.

Pros and Cons
I have found the scale to be accurate and there are many nice features. I am most disappointed in the Body Wave measurement as I estimate it has a failure rate of 80-85% of the time. It records everything else in the Withings app (and Apple Health app) automatically but this one feature is not good at all. I'm not sure how beneficial or useful it is, so I'm still pleased with the scale overall.

The single worst thing to happen to this scale is Nokia buying the company, and then immediately trashing the app. The hardware itself is perfection. The Withings app was, too. Lets see how bad Nokia gets this one wrong. There is a perfectly good reason they became a fire sale - and all indicators unfortunately point in the same direction. So sad.

It's good but a little slow to go through all the measurements and seems to get my heart rate consistently 20 bpm higher than my Apple watch I'm inclined to trust my watch more especially because accuracy has not always been withing's strongest suit
Don't get me wrong I love what it does especially that it seamlessly connects to health app

It's helped me be more strict with myself.
So, let's start off by saying that clinically and technically I guess, I'm morbidly obese. Which, I mean, I kinda knew already. I'm still healthy and have become more physically active, this was after an injury. The scale has really helped me keep an eye and track where I'm at. After looking at the data it's recorded, I can see how what I do can affect me. From what I ate, how active I was in between days or just how lazy I've been. The cardio part of it is kind of a pain to get going. I know every time I weighed myself I would try and figure out where to stand to get a reading. I failed for weeks at it, then last week I guess I started standing at a good spot, and now I'm 2 measurements away form a baseline. So yay, more data for me to look at. Also, I always had an issue with other scales where I never knew where or how to stand. This one indicates where uneven pressure is at and where to move or adjust. So I feel a lot more confident in weighing myself now. I had a cheaper scale, and from doctors visit, it seemed like it was off. Which meant when this one went on sale, I splurged, but trust me, I don't regret it at all.

Don't do it!
When I first bought it I would have rated it a 5. However, I changed my modem, and now the scale does not sync to my app. I've talked with customer service a few times via e mail. (Nokia will not provide service by phone) They've told me the same thing 3 times, and it still won't link, so its no different than an ordinary $20 bathroom scale. It tells me my weight. PERIOD. I would not suggest buying this or any other product when a rep isn't available to talk you through the issue. Shame on you, Nokia!

Buy the lower priced version of this scale!
The scale works great for recording my weight everyday. But the heart rate features do NOT always work and it is very frustrating. I haven't had a pulse wave reading in months and nothing I do helps.
