Very good driver for those with a chronic slice
Very good driver for those with a chronic slice. While it did not completely eliminate my slice, it did turn it into a fade. The club is easy to hit off the tee and the shaft feels about right through my swing. For the price, I recommend it for those trying to reduce the severity of their slice. I've been using a TaylorMade SLDR driver set to draw. This club is 1/3rd the price of the SLDR and is somewhat more effective at reducing my slice.

I Can't Believe It
Got it yesterday. Took it to the range in the morning. Played 18 in the afternoon. I keep saying, "I can't believe it". I am a 30 handc. baseball player golfer with a bad slice. I hit all fairways but one, on 18, when I really went for it, and my buddy said, "You didn't slice it you pushed it". I got to my ball punched it on the fairway and bogged the hole. Today I shot a 98. I don't understand it but every shot was right down the middle. I usually hit about 30% of fairways. Today I way pounding the fairways like lady pros. I know golf is a day by day thing so I am ready to go out again to see if this thing really works, but Boy, this way so much fun. Everyone came over and looked at my new club. I increased my back swing and added more distance. I usellaly hit my driver 175y, because I have a short back swing to control it. I hit one 261y. I out hit my buddies all day. Ready, "I can't believe it". Maybe the off set degree is perfect for me. but after a second and third try I will write again, but today it was something I was happy to experience. Oh by the way, this says I'm a lefty. I'm a righty !

Decent driver for the price but the clubhead finish isn't durable
I didn't find that the offset design helped cure my occasional slice. Lessons did. I cured a couple of problems in my swing and now can hit with any driver. The PGX is, however, a decent driver. I get better distance with my Calloway driver, but considering that the Calloway cost me 3 times what the PGX did, I think the PGX performs very well for its price. My only real gripe with the PGX is that it scratches easily. Three rounds and it looks like it's been through the mill. Never had a club that marred so easily before.

Works great and definitely corrected my periodic slice. Wish it was also available in 9.5 loft...

WOW, I could NEVER hit a ball properly with any driver. And now with an inexpensive one, I send it straight at an expected distance for a pre-Senior. This driver will stay in my bag.

Great for those days you have a little fade/slice going
Some days I get on the range and have a big power fade off the tee. It's not necessarily bad, but causes problems on some holes where the hole sets up bad for a power fade. Some days I drive straight with my normal driver.
With this club, I hit a few balls on the range to warm up before my round, and if I see I'm having an issue with the fade that day, I pack this in my bag and put the regular driver back in the car. If I'm driving it straight with the regular driver I go with it.
It's great to have this option, but also not break the bank on an expensive 2nd driver. It's not quite as long as my bertha, but also isn't short either. It's very forgiving as well. You'll lose 10-15 yards if you catch it on the edge of the club face, but it stays pretty accurate even on poor/mediocre ball contact. Also, you can still hit a fade with this club if you use a weak grip to intentionally shape your shot.
Also there's a course I play that all the par 5s are dogleg left. This club kills on that course because I can hit a huge power draw that I can't really hit with my Bertha. Hit a 290 draw yesterday that cut the corner and left me with a 9 iron to a par 5.
If you're a chronic slicer, get this club. If you have an occasional fade/slice that sometimes shows up for some rounds and won't go away that day, get this for your backup driver. If you sometimes play courses with a lot of long dogleg left holes that call for a big running draw, get this club. Really, I think almost everybody could benefit from this club even if it's just a tactical club for certain courses/days. For some people it will absolutely improve their game as their #1 driver, for some of will be a weapon to pick and chose with.
