Quality sound - Wireless music - electrical cord needed, but worth it.
The sound is excellent. Pure and deep. the electric cord is a drawback, but I wanted quality sound so I can take the speaker where I want it and listen to quality sound. I purchased this for my backyard relaxing - and to stream Pandora. You need to get their windows software after that, it is simple to tie in. It picks up my wireless from front and back yards. Push buttons on top let you program streaming channels and/or my playlist from my itunes account. comes with a handy remote that is built for Pandora with thumbs up/down on remote.

Mobile App & Linking Software Need Improvement BUT Sound Is GREAT
Great sound quality but I have found that the linking system with the mobile app is a bit tedious to work with. Every few weeks I have to relink the speakers with the app. About once a week I have a streaming issue where there are breaks in the sound as if the app/speakers are having a difficulty buffering the audio file (the files are downloaded and not streaming from the web and I do not have this issue with other speaker brands). So overall the speakers are great but Bose needs to improve their system linking technology/software. I do love the 6 buttons for pre-programming stations from my Spotify. I often just use these so I don't have to bother with the lousy Bose App. But then the music is only playing from one speaker. Overall I recommend getting them if Bose continues to improve the software.

A Great Addition to our Home
I purchased these through AlumiGogo to add a few more rooms to my Bose SoundTouch system. It's really easy to setup and they sound great. Buying the 2-pack was a more economical way of getting more speakers. I use the Bose system, pretty much exclusively, to play Pandora through the house. There's a lot more that can be done with them. They've been up for about a month and work great.

Love this product
Love this product. Consistent with BOSE quality. Come to find out that it works with Sirius/XM radio also. Originally was going to stream Sirius/XM from my phone app to device via Bluetooth. Turns out it can run directly from WiFi without using phone app. Only suggestion for improvement is some type of on-board display to determine "what is playing" without having to use the BOSE phone app to find that information. BOSE phone app does work well and is constantly improving.

Great Internet/remote speaker and good price.
I reviewed this product and gave it 5 stars. Since that review I have tried to contact Bose about purchasing a Bluetooth adapter for my other Bose product (Wave Touchtone lll system). Oh we're trying to contact Bose is a ridiculous experience. I've called twice only to be put on hold for over 20 mins, the first time and for over a half hour the second time. I've emailed them 3 times. There customer support is terrible. It seems once you buy a product they no longer think of you as important. I am totally frustrated with them.
I previously purchased the Bose Radio/CD/Internet and loved it. I wanted to add a speaker to my upstairs study but didn't want to spend a lot of money for a remote speaker. Well I found the Bose Sound Touch 10 Wireless System for $200. It works as a remote speaker or a Bluetooth devise. The sound is great. It is easy to install. It takes up a minimum of space. I am well pleased with this product and it's performance.

Love these speakers
Love these speakers, great sound for size, and versatile. As advertised you can add additional speakers, and have same music playing in house or inside and outside(not outdoor speakers, but if protected, can use), or different music. Fairly easy to use app, to control music, and can use seveal different sources, such as pandora, spotify, etc. Can use bluetooth, or wifi, or even auxiliary to attach to your TV, etc. Highly recommend, and great price for what you get!

The form factor is great for a crowded counter tops
The form factor is great for a crowded counter tops. I have several sound touch systems that are great, but the sound touch 10 only gets three stars after determining Bose chose not to include Apple airplay in this model. You can connect by bluetooth, but Airplay was so much more convenient and for whole home listening. My guess is Bose had to do this because of relationships with Pandora and iHeart radio services, the only two music services available in their app. Consequently, I would only purchase their older systems that have Airplay for my own preferences which removes the need for their SoundTouch app.

It is a beautiful thing. Occasionally the software can be buggy
With a few taps on my tablet each night I am playing bedtime stories in each of my boys rooms from a USB drive on my router. It is a beautiful thing.
Occasionally the software can be buggy, and it is ridiculous that Bose is still quarreling with Apple over supporting Apple Music or Apple Match. But aside from that this is perfect for parents being able to route bedtime audio to the kids.

Good Speaker, Connectivity Okay
Great sound! I wish that Bose wasn't so expensive otherwise I'd add more to my collection. We use one as a TV speaker, and while it is a little odd to only have one speaker for the TV, it does a good job connecting via Bluetooth. I will say, it can be sometimes difficult to initially pair with a device. Often times, it will continue to play music when the power button is hit, even when no device has any music apps open or connected. I think that has to do more with the Bose app than it does the speaker, but it can often be annoying. I've tried only a few times to pair them together, and it does a fairly good job just for music listening, but think I noticed a lag when pairing the two and connecting to the TV via Bluetooth connection. Overall, the sound is strong and it does what it is supposed to do.

See if you don't buy another one shortly after... ;)
Don't hesitate to get one of these SoundTouch 10s. They're excellent. I bought two.
I own the new SoundTouch 130, and decided to get the SoundTouch 10 to add extra audio capability in my apartment. A week later I bought another one, these things are awesome! After hearing such awesome audio in my living room I needed to get the same in my kitchen and bedroom.
The SoundTouch 130 had impressed me with its simplicity and versatility - and removed the need to install surround sound speakers, something I wanted to avoid this time around. I was in a bind between the lower priced (and excellent) Sonos sound bar, and the Bose. As far as audio quality is concerned, they were close. But the ease of use was the kicker that made me want to try the Bose 130 and 10, and Sonos lacks Bluetooth connectivity. Once I had it running at home I wanted more of the same sound throughout.
So I went and listened to the 10 once more and ordered it online right after. Of course could have just picked it up at the Bose store, but I'm loyal to AlumiGogo, who have taken good care of me over the years. I did get the second one (in white) at the Bose store though, I couldn't wait ;)
I stream music from my PC via Windows Media Player, from Pandora stations, from AlumiGogo Prime, various Internet radio stations and Audible audio books from my phone or Fire tablet. Sometimes I link the speakers together for whole house audio, sometimes the systems each play different things. Either way, it's a pleasure to have this system working so easily and seamlessly.
Setup is quick, though I do feel the Bose app is slower to respond than it needs to be when configuring a new device. My main gripe is it takes a while each time it starts to find and display the Bose devices on the network. I don't know why it can't just remember them and display them right away. Other than that the app is quick and the speakers respond very quickly with the requested content.
I love the way I can stream audio via BT to any speakers and then replicate that sound across the rest. Bose did a great job on these.
The 10 can be controlled via your i) phone, ii) tablet iii) PC, iv) via the menu buttons on the speaker itself or v) the handy remote. The remote is a very useful addition. Bose gets extra credit for that, though the app is usually open on my devices when I'm home for quick access.
Audio quality is of course at Bose standards, which are high. If you hate Bose, then why are you reading this? I have never had to crank these up, I probably only used them at maximum 30% volume to get clear, crisp audio in the open plan kitchen or bedroom. The audio carries well, just angle the speakers for the cone of sound to propagate across your living space correctly and the difference in audio fidelity is clearly apparent.
These are elegant and stylish; they're small units, but with a heft and solid feel that speaks of quality. I only turned them up loud once to get a feeling for them, but only play them at lower volumes as indicated above. No need to turn them up to get great audio.
Make sure the source is of high quality however, as bad audio will sound terrible. The speakers reproduce quality audio amazingly well, but poor quality streaming sources (typically internet radio) are faithfully reproduced and will ruin the listening experience.
Mornings, evenings, quiet times, bedroom, kitchen, living room, holidays etc. will never be the same once you have these. Once you've had the benefit of these you will want to fill your house with them and use them all the time. They are that good.
You will find reasons to upgrade your music and build a collection of good audio - I listen to a ton of Audible books now because of these things too.
