Paying extra to get the cordless model with the attachments was well worth the extra cost, but having to hit the unlock button to start it every time you let go of the button keeps it from being 5 stars

Safety system makes unit too cumbersome use. This lame unit is going back.
Having to hit the unlock button and the power button, at the same time, in order to turn the unit on, is a game breaker for me. This "safety feature" is poorly designed. The design engineering and the product marketing groups, that inflicted this poorly designed system on the buying public, should be fired. This lame unit is going back.

needs much improvement
I am disappointed with the 2 button start design. I hope future versions of cordless have a longer running time. I also hope they start and run on just one button push. This blender stops repeatedly mid blend even when the mixture is not thick. I don't understand why. I don't like the way that it works considering how much it cost. Think I'll return it and get a corded one instead. More power and a third of the price.

convenient cordless hand blender
Arrived on time, well packaged in good condition.
I have used a hand blender for many years, but was constantly frustrated by the cord, especially when using around the range (cook stove!)
This unit performs very well, and has plenty of neat attachments which could come in handy. (I don't use them!)
The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is the double (safety) switches which have to be simultaneously engaged to turn it on.
I like the safety, but it makes it very cumbersome to operate, especially when my second hand is busy holding a pot or a bowl.
If your finger slips off of the 'run' switch and it stops in use, you have to re-engage the double switch procedure to get it restarted.
frustrating. Not quite as bad as the cord, but a problem non-the- less. I think the high dollar engineers could come up with a better idea.

The attachments are good. The whole unit was a bit larger than I thought it was going to be. The buttons are a bit cumbersome, as you have to hold one down button while pressing the other button to get it started, which can be difficult when holding the blender and trying to avoid splashback. Otherwise, overall, it's a good product.

Super powerful especially for a cordless.
Was impressed with the power. I wore out a similar Cuisinart cordless stick as I use them a lot. Was a little hesitate to spend that much money as wasn't sure I needed all the attachments, but they should be very handy. Wish they also offered just the cordless stick blender. It is very large compared to the old one.

Perfect all in one kitchen tool.
I don't like kitchen clutter, so efficient use of space is important to me. Ditched several small appliances in favor of this all in one model and love it! I have a great immersion blender for soups, smoothies and sauces. The electric knife is easy to assemble and powerful! Wonderful kitchen tool.

Works great, but too big
I just got this today and I love it! It was already charged, and I tried out the knife, which worked great on my homemade bread! I really didn’t even need to read the instructions since it was pretty easy to figure it out. The bag is an added bonus!! I don’t really mind the safety feature as much as others do. I kind of prefer it because I don’t trust myself... The only negative I have is that it’s pretty bulky and long, so it can be a little awkward in handling.

We're very happy with it
We been using it for quite awhile now. It does everything we needed it to do. We're very happy with it. Thanks, Pat

Like this brand in many products
This a quality product for sure. The fact about holding down the start button is a little weird but it is a safety factor; I can deal with it.
