Works great and doesn't scratch our boots!
I purchased this for our boots to remove snow and salt before coming inside. I chose this product because I wanted a boot scrubber that I could leave outside the front door and not have to shake it off every time we wanted to use it. This boot scrubber has open spaces between each scrubber brush and roller, so snow/ice/salt can fall through and not collect on top of it. I also wanted a scrubber that didn't come up very far on the sides of the boots, because I was worried that the boots would get scratched. This scrubber works great for removing debris from the bottom of our boots, and doesn't scratch the sides. I placed it outside our front door at about a 45 degree angle to use as a quick boot scrubber before coming into the mud room. It works great, and haven't had any issues so far with snow collecting on top of it while placed outside. I attached pictures for measurements and so that the height of the side scrubbers can be better visualized.

Not bad but I've used better
It's a decent boot scrubber but it is not as effective as a similar design sold by a well known building products chain store (sounds like 'low'), which charges just under 15 dollars. The one sold by this national chain has 5 sets of wider brushes for the bottom of your boots as opposed to the four sets of narrower brushes on this one. The chain version also provides full coverage from front to back while this one has no coverage at the front and back where there are exposed dowels which you can see in the single photo the company provides. My wife complained that her foot slips on the dowel at the front of this scrubber. I bought this version because the chain store was out of stock. If I had not had the opportunity to frequently use the chain store's which is located at the entrance of a condo building in which I periodically live, I might have given this 4 stars. Finally, I can attest to the durability of the chain store's while I have only owned this one for two weeks.

Momma Don't Play
Momma screamed "take off dem shoes"
Cuz scrubbin da rug gives Momma da Blues.
One day she whooped me with a switch
Now when my shoes are dirty it makes me twitch.
I bought these here scrubbers for front porch and back
Now momma won't whoop me but she still keeps me on track
Who'd a thunk these boot brushes would save my young keester.
Glad I got em at Christmas instead of at Easter.

No more tracking dirt inside
Job site or residence - this is a great way to keep everyone from tracking dirt or snow in to the office, work site house. The low profile makes them very easy to use, but has plenty of space for debris to come off your shoes or boots. The construction has held up fine for my 200 pound frame for a few months now with no signs of letting up. The bristles of the brushes are very firm, and they stand up great to daily use. You can easily clean both shoes while standing on each side or just one at a time. The side bristles are perfect height for getting sides of sole tread without marking side of shoe or boot.
I am very pleased with my purchase.

I like how this has rollers to elevate your feet so ...
I have a CNC mill in the garage that I use often on aluminum. I also have two small kids, so Im often kicking off a machining job then running back inside the house. We've always had a problem with little aluminum chip tracking inside the house. I used to use this mat that was basically steel fence wire with brushes in between. That didnt holdup too well, as the brush wore out and the steel got bent out of shape. I like how this has rollers to elevate your feet so you dont mat down the brushes.
I use it mainly on my shoes when walking in and out of the garage to brush off aluminum chips. It gets all of the chips off the sides and bottom. You can also stand on it barefoot.

Use it out of the box, for an affordable, easy shoe cleaning.
I've been using this twice a day for 2 weeks so far and it shows no wear at all to the brushes. That would be my only concern, because once the brushes start breaking down the item will of course be useless. I will update when that begins to happen. For now though it is working great. My only complaint is there is no tray to sit it in so the dirt I am scrubbing off piles up on the porch, so I have to get my lazy body to go and get a broom to sweep it off every once in a while(a long while considering I have yet to do it).
The scrubber is sturdy, and does not move at all when using on concrete. My sneakers come out nicely cleaned. Mud presents a challenge, and you may still have a couple clumps sticking to your shoes if they are really muddy, depending on how much effort you want to put in. If it's just regular dirt, they will end up clean enough to walk around inside your house when you're done.
Overall for the price I am very happy I chose this scrubber. Most others were twice the price and I don't see how they could have done the job any better. Best of all, you can use this one right out of the box. Nothing to set up, and you don't need to attach it to anything. Just lay it down and start cleaning.

Looks good, works not-so-good
Got this to try and keep the construction mud & sand out of the house. So far I've used it 2 days, and it isn't helping that much. Put it on a mat outside, stand on it, and wipe my feet back and forth. Works okay if I do this for 3-4 minutes NON-STOP on each foot. BUT! It gets better! The side brushes aren't high enough to clean out the welts. I still have to balance on one foot while I'm trying to brush off the other with a hand brush, so in the end I'm still doing what I was doing after I stand on this for almost 10 minutes.

Close, but no cigar.
Boots have treds that have grooves that run in multiple directions. You need to be able to scrub your boot soles fore and aft, side to side, in a twisting motion, etc in order to get the mud out of all the treds. This device restricts your foot to pretty much forward, backward scrubbing action. I'll keep it, because I need something (and this is better than nothing. But will continue my search for a scrubber that works better).
And, by the way, every other boot scrubber I have found on the market has this same fundamental shortcoming. You need to be able to freely scrub your boot sole from side to side, and diagonally.

IT WORKS - GREAT DESIGN
only used it a couple times but seems to be well-made and sturdy... stand on it with both feet and simply alternate moving your feet forward and backward and your feet roll across the rollers and the brushes clean the bottoms and sides... although since my shoes are frequently caked with thick mud on the bottoms and sides i place the boot-scrubber in a shallow (5" deep) plastic pan (big enough for my feet to have room going forwards and backwards - bought at Lowes to mix cement in for about $6.00) and add enough water in the bottom of pan to cover the brushes and that helps loosen the mud for the brushes to do their job...

Does the job!
So far I find this to be an excellent boot scrubber. I based my decision on one of the reviews that stated that the brushes didn't get crushed due to the placement of the wooden rods and it is true. I considered several other models that look similar in design but lacked a design to protect the brushes from being stepped on directly. As with most things the real proof is in the long term use. I'm wondering what kind of longevity I can expect from it? How long will the wooden rods hold up in a wet and warm climate? Hopefully I'll remember to check back in a year.
