DESTROYS hardwood floors
It saddens me greatly to write this because my children LOVE this toy. But, it has a huge flaw: the wheels on this toy are hard plastic and after several months of use they will DESTROY your hardwood floors (see picture). We have only used this product inside. It was a terrific product when new but now, after several months, we suddenly have a noticeable "racetrack" of scratches all over the downstairs of our house from this toy. These are NOT scuff marks, they are deep scratches. So frustrated!!
I called Razor's customer service hoping they could send me new rubber rollerblade wheels to no avail. If I can't switch them out myself this toy will be donated.

Love but broke
My girls loved this toy! They only used it inside. I wish it would have lasted longer. I was surprised when it broke. My girls are under the weight limit (44lbs)

Cutest thing I have ever seen!!!
This is by far the cutest thing I have ever seen! My niece just turned 3 and while I was browsing for her birthday gift I came across this scooter and couldn't pass it up! She loves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles so this will be right up her alley! The colors are nice and bright and the fact that the eyes move when the scooter turns is just super freaking cute!! The scooter is a bit smaller than I expected so if someone has a child that is super tall or large for their age then this toy may not be appropriate. Overall, though this scooter is super cute and I would recommend this to anyone with a small child! The selection of animals is sure to find one that every child will love!

Great rolly toy for indoor play.
I just picked this little lady up at a steep discount for my toddler and it's been a big hit so far. To make the toy work, the child needs to sit on the bug's body in the center, which can be a little tricky since the child has to straddle the seat to get on it. If the child's bum is a little to the right or left, the seat will tip and the rider may fall off, but the seat is contoured in such a way that it's easy for the kid to find the sweet spot (with some practice and help from an adult. My daughter needed help the first few times but now pops on and off like a pro.) Once seated, the child puts their feet on the bar and their hands on the handles. They "wiggle wiggle" the handles and the bug starts rolling, so long as the bug is on a really smooth surface.
So far, the hardwood floors are the best surfaces for rolling. The vinyl flooring in our kitchen is too bumpy and it's hard to gain momentum. This toy will not work on carpet or on very bumpy surfaces (I wouldn't take this one out on sidewalks as the breaks in the sidewalks will stop the fun.) For us, it's a great active indoor toy. It takes a lot of energy to get the thing going and since it's powered by wiggles and turns, it can be a lot of fun in not a lot of space.
For those of you trying to figure out what age/ability range this toy fits best, know that my kid is two and a half and in the 90th percentiles for height and weight. She's fairly coordinated but not advanced (e, she can walk down stairs without holding the rail but has yet to master jumping in the air with both feet off the ground at the same time.) Had she been given this gift for he birthday six months ago, it would have been a dud, but it's perfect for her right now. I anticipate she'll outgrow it by the time she is four, but until then, it's a lot of fun and a good introduction to riding toys.

Great Fun For the Little Ones!!
I bought two of these for my two 3 year old nieces. They absolutely love this item. The learning curve (wiggling the handle bar from side to side to gain momentum) only took them both about 5-10 minutes. After that they were zooming around all over. Be mindful that outside use will dirty the wheels up a bit and you'll have to wipe them down if you want to have the kids use it indoors. The wheels work well even over more gravelly type surfaces. Be warned, on smooth surfaces that are hilly, you want to stay close to your little one because they can easily take off on your without realizing it. It won't scare them (because children are fearless) but it may put the fear of God in YOU!!!!

I got this for my 2 year old nephew for Christmas. He rode it once and was done. It kept tipping to the side. I thought maybe he was too big for it but it says for 18 months and up. He only weighs 32 lbs. It is really cute though. I got a really good deal on it and that is the only reason I am rating it as high as 3 stars. If I had paid the normal price which 2-3 times what I paid, I would have given it a 1 star rating.

Excellent quality. I purchased for my classroom and it has had great performance despite multiple uses from several different students throughout the day. It is easy to use and very safe. They have a lot of fun on it and it's great for large motor breaks and proprioceptive input for sensory breaks. Great investment for a home or school.

Really cute! Love that the eyes move when the kids move the handle bars. I bought this for my one year old niece and nephew and although they haven't mastered it yet they will grow into this perfectly. I feel like it was a really fun first birthday gift and will buy it again for others.
