While the traditional Futuro, thicker ankle brace/supports are fine in the house, barefoot, those types were too thick and uncomfortable to wear with shoes. These Therafirm 20-30mmHg Open-Toe Support anklet was just what I was looking for to provide adequate support when wearing socks and shoes. They are thin, not too binding around ankle or near toes. very helpful for swollen ankle
This support anklet is a real help in keeping my ankle comfortable. It starts feeling a little tight across the lower ankle after hours of wearing so I don't wear it for more than 10 hours. Remember to measure a few inches above the ankle on the leg to determine the size you need. I bought the x-large and the upper band leaves no impression on my leg at all. The lower band around the foot by the toes does start feeling a little tight, but even so, this is the one anklet I've found where the band around the foot is not so thick that it becomes irritating.

I had spinal surgery last summer and my recovery has been long, slow and difficult. I am currently finishing up a physical therapy regimen. My ankles have been swelling and no one seems to know why or care what to do about it. The left ankle stays pretty much normal whereas the right swells up below the ankle bone. It's uncomfortable and looks horrible. I am on my feet a lot; I love to cook and do most of my prep in the morning; then I lie down and elevate my feet. I also experience swelling when we go shopping. I tried a pair of compression stockings - knee-highs. They were hard to put on, very uncomfortable and didn't really do the job.
Your open-toe anklet, however, is perfect. Although not super easy to put on either, once there, my already puffy ankle soon reduced to normal size. The anklet is so comfortable to wear I hardly know I have it on. I removed it for bed time, but it's back on now and will stay with me until I've done the dinner dishes. We are flying overseas in July - a long overnight flight (fortunately 1st class with reclining-to-flat-seats; we're celebrating our 50th anniversary). I'm confidant that this anklet will keep me comfortable - a load off my mind. This is the perfect solution to an annoying problem. Thank you for designing such a fine product.

Good for what it is - top does sag slightly.
They do the job but I do wish they had a bit more compression. I live in compression socks now since ORIF surgery, it's really the only way I can walk without total pain. I use this sock for summer sandals and days when I'm not going to be super active. They are easy to get on and off, so yay! but tend to not grip the leg very tightly and sag down slightly. I got the medium and I'm a women's size 8-9.5 (depending on the shoe) and 39-40 EU. My ankle used to be fairly slim (and the other one still is) and they grip my foot well, I'm sure there wouldn't be much of a problem for someone with more muscle in their calf to help hold up the top of the sleeve. However if you have skinny legs probably getting a longer sleeve would be better. Or sizing down.
Also - the color nude is definitely darker than my skin tone, I guess I'm more of a paleface, I mean foot, than I thought. Then again my feet haven't really seen much of the sun since last summer.

Odd fit, expensive return shipping.
This did not fit me. I measured carefully to order the correct size. It was too lose in the ankle to offer any support, and so tight in the foot it cut off my circulation. I returned it immediately. Even though I purchased it via AlumiGogo prime shipping, the return shipping through the partner company was not free - cost almost the entire amount of the product itself. Should have just kept it and donated it.

Provide Excellent Relief from Ankle Swelling
This works very well for keeping swelling down after my ankle joint replacement surgery 3 months ago. I wear a size 9 shoe and ordered a Large It's a good tight fit, but still easy enough to slip on/off. I've not had any trouble with the anklet leaving an indentation---just be sure that you smooth them out at the top and bottom. I had worn these a couple of years ago and they lasted forever; however my physical therapist said they should be replaced every 6 months---guess that depends on how often/long you wear them. As other have said, these are for compression/reduction of swelling, not support----but truth is, you'll walk better if now in discomfort because of the swelling. You can wear these with any type of shoe or sandal.

Very different color from the AlumiGogo picture.
I will be returning this item since it is dark orange-beige, not light-colored like the photo and I was looking for something that would be fairly inconspicuous without another sock over it in the summer. I chose this item because the picture in the listing showed is as blending well with what appeared to be a fairly light-skinned leg. The package did have a cutout so one could see the item if it was on a shelf, but it was nowhere close in color to the picture on the package, which is the same as the picture on AlumiGogo. It gets even more orangey when stretched. I can't speak to it's function so I gave it a sort of in-between rating.

mistakenly ordered thinking there were two. I mean really, 18$ for 1?! Bought another so total price 36$ also bought in every color so that 4x18=72$ They saw me coming a mile away. why would you want only one? Anyway, I guess they do the job of being a sock with no toes

A smart buy
I have problems with one ankle/foot swelling after having surgery. This really helps keep it to a minimum since I am in a job where I am sometimes on my feet a lot or for long periods of time.

Loses elasticity quickly
This compression ankle sleeve is very difficult to get on. At first it was helpful and stayed in placed. After 4 uses, the elasticity broke down and when on the ankle the upper half slumped down and thus did not help with ankle pain/inflammation. Unfortunately, I can't return it because I already wore it. I have no choice but to look for another brand/style and spend more money. I just wish this had lasted more than 4 times. It had not been washed, cut, or anything that would have outwardly caused it to lose elasticity.
