The Migrant Computer Worker's Friend
I carried this AC adapter with me on a business trip to Australia, powering both the HP provided by my customer and the Dell I normally carry. In addition, the built-in USB port charged my iPad, Samsung Galaxy S5, and my Bluetooth headset. One charger for all devices, with a minimum of cabling - that's traveling efficiently!

I've been using this Universal Laptop AC Adapter for several months now, and I must say I am impressed with the engineering that went into this. I've used others in the past, but this one is much better. The only complaint I have is that the blue LED to let you know it is plugged in was WAY too bright, especially in a dark room. A piece of black electrical tape remedied that situation fairly easily.
This works with both my wife's laptop and mine, and, as we travel a lot, the DC plug adapter is a dream for us. It's easy to switch tips, which we often do as her Acer laptop needs one type and my Lenovo laptop needs another, so we carry both in the bag.
The block is rather large and heavy compared to most, but as we have the convenience of DC plug adapter AND AC adapter, it's worth it every bit. Now, instead of having to carry DC adapter plus AC adapter for each laptop while on the road, we can just carry this one unit, because while one is charging the other can be used from battery. It's rare we have to charge both at once. Besides, one of us will be driving anyway. ;)
Great product. Worth every penny. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone needing one, and wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

I had previously purchased a ZOZO brand universal power supply for my Lenovo G550 lappy. For some unknown reason(s) it caused the touchpad to "delay" or temporarily "freeze" the cursor when trying to use the machine. Every single time I'd plug the laptop in, this touchpad issue manifested. As soon as I unplugged the laptop from the ZOZO power supply, the issue immediately went away. I tried this 20 or 30 times over a 3 day period. Very very strange (unless you go FAR off the path and think of ethernet over powerline - data transmission stuff).
AlumiGogo gave a prompt refund with no hassles at all. Very happy with their customer service.
The Westronix unit never caused a single problem (I've had it for over a week). Doesn't hum, cause RFI, overheat. It just works. The adapter tip at the end, which plugs into the lappy, fits great too.
I'm VERY satisfied with this product. However, should it have a short life-span, I'll come back here and edit this review to reflect that.
UPDATE: Aug 25, 2016 - I've not had a single problem with this charger. It works exactly as it did the first day I put it into service. I've read reviews where someone says it "shorted out" in a few weeks; to that person I would advise that they double check the connection between the charger cable and the adapter tip that plugs into the laptop. I thought I had the same "shorting out" issue, but found that you simply have to be FIRM when plugging the adapter tip into the charger's lead.

This is the 2nd one I've had. The first worked well for about a year, then decided to stop working in the middle of a trip. The 2nd one lasted only 3 months. It still works, but I can feel an electrical charge through the aluminum chassis of my laptop when it's plugged in. Not when it's plugged into a more solid Targus power supply. I carry this thing all over in my laptop bag. I think it's just too flimsy to handle being jostled around all the time, which is what laptops are for. Not buying a 3rd one.

ROAD WARRIOR's friend
Recharging and powering (computer) equipment while driving is a common task and this device wraps several of these functions into one unit. A bit bigger than other AC-adapters but in return it also accepts 12V DC input (car outlet). And to set it further apart from adapters, it FORTUNATELY lacks an annoying fan :-)
Things I would want to improve :
- have 2 USB outlets, each provide 2.1A or more (fast-charging)
- IMO it is possible to shrink this in size, especially when you switch to a 2-pin AC-connector
- the US version uses an uncommon 3-pin connector ==> when I travel, I cannot share the same 2-pin AC-cable for this adapter and other power supplies.
- a variety of DC-plugs are included -- these adapters use a different connector than Li-Ion packs and therefore I need to carry 2 sets of incompatible adapters with me
- the 12V DC-cable is short -- too short to reach the pockets in the passenger door or behind the front seats. Long enough to squeeze the adapter below the seat or tuck it inside the glove box.
- To make it a truly globally usable device, you need to add different 3-pin AC-adapters to match the local AC-outlets. A 2-pin power-cable would have simplified that task.
In addition to recharging my laptops, this power-supply also can refill a "PowerTank" battery pack. It would have been great, if both would use the same type of connector. This AC-adapter picked a rather unusual interface no other power-supply uses :-((
It is SILENT -- that's a great bonus over some AC-inverters.
It gets the job done -- 90W for the charging is okay, add 2nd USB to make it better.
I can take this from the car to a motel and continue to power/recharge devices there.

A PC technicans must have!
Use it at least once a week to work on PCs where owners have forgot to bring in the power bricks. Love that is also doubles as a USB charger. Don't get the overprice junk that they sell at retail stores when this will do the just as well.

The charger has worked perfectly! We found a tip for my laptop my wife's laptop, our Galaxy view and our Chargetech battery pack.
We use the DC plug in our camper and charge everything via a 100 Watt solar panel, works great! And when we drive around I can charge in the car, or via AC wall plug at hotels, it's been a super handy device.
The only cons are that you might lose your tips, I wish there was some way to stash 3 or 4 on the box.
Also, you CAN actually plug the DC cable into the box backwards, which fries it instantly, so use some nail polish or a marker and place some indicator lines on your plug and box so you don't do it accidentally like I did!

You get what you pay for...
Bought this a little over 7 months ago, and only used it when traveling or on long road trips. In other words: very little. Took it out today to charge my Lenovo on the road, and no power went to the computer. That annoying like blue light still shines, and the usb port still works, but it does not perform it's most important function now (after only 7 uses.) It does charge phone very quickly though, and is an effective PC charger when working properly. As the tittle says, you pay for what you get... And this thing is rather cheap. Buy with that understanding.

Bought this for a road trip so the little ones could use a laptop for entertainment. Worked great! I just had to match up the correct size plug and verified the voltage with my laptop's existing power supply.

So far its been working great charging my Dell laptop. I use mostly at home but have taken it camping and ran off 12v for days at a time and it works great. I hope it lasts a while.

This is working for my Lenovo ThinkPad. I have an iGo charger that I used for my previous laptop. I like that better b/c it does all the things this Westronix does bit is a little smaller and came with a carrying case. It didn't have a tip that fits my new Lenovo laptop.... that is why I purchased this other adapter.

nice to have one adapter for 3 laptops
nice to have one adapter for 3 laptops: thinkpad carbon, toshiba portege and HP probook. won't do surface or tablets. be careful with losing parts - already lost the DC car adapter somewhere... came with a nice bag for tips, though.

19.5 Volt 90 Watt power adapter, AC 120v or DC 12v input, replacing Sony VGP-AC19V31 for my VAIO VPC-SE290X
19.5 Volt, 90 Watt, power adapter, AC 120v or DC 12v input, replacing OEM Sony VAIO VGP-AC19V31 for my VAIO VPC-SE290X. Also has a handy DC USB 5 Volt charging port. Nice, quality adapter. The main transformer body is almost twice as wide as the OEM adapter.

This product hasn't let me down yet.
Exactly what I was looking for although it was a little more expensive than what I initially wanted to pay. But since this product for about a hasn't let me down yet, I'm happy. Overall 9/10.
