5 Stars By Nick Chrysler 300 on 2014-10-21 Great bulbs.... awesome LED bulbs... very very bright, and way better than JDM ASTAR Super Bright AX-2835, the difference between running/tail (stage 1) and brake/signal (stage 2) light is great and very noticable. I love them... so far the best red leds I had... won't regret, here is the video too, to make it easier for you...
Update. Feb 13 2016, still working great with no issues...
5 Stars By R. Holen on 2016-12-24 Extremely Bright and Worth It The description says 'Extremely Bright' and it's not kidding. In my application they exceed the stock bulb brightness both as running and stop lights by quite a bit, but not so bright as to get the wrong kind of attention. I converted a 2009 and a 2011 Ford CVPI over to LED and I like the result. You will need four load resistors for the rear lamps and 2 load resistors for the front lamps. The resistors will stop the hyper flashing. The original bulbs where 3157K lamps which are quite a bit brighter than a standard 3157, but the LED lamps beat them. These have been in and operating for almost six months without a single LED failing. Much better performance than the Sylvania 3157R LEDs that I tried. Two of the four Sylvania LEDs died within two weeks. And Sylvania customer support is almost non-existent when it comes to their automotive LED lights. I have uploaded a video of the two cars side by side, The one on the left has the 3157K lamps and the one on the right has the LED lamps. I would recommend these lamps,
5 Stars By Robert D on 2014-11-04 Excellent purchase Bulbs arrived a couple of days early and the look and feel of the build quality was very good. There were no fit issues into the sockets, and the bulb was held securely. All along I was concerned about the difference between the low/high illumination levels, not wanting to get rear ended by a driver who didn't notice my brake lights or turn signals. Well my fears were put to rest by the significant increase in light level under brake and/or turn signals. The increase is at least as good as the stock incandescents, probably better.
Check out my video with the new JDMs installed. The video was made in daytime shade, at night the effect is more dramatic. Excuse my film making skills, I cut off the passenger side tail light. But you can get the idea. BTW, I had to install resistors to correct hyperflash.
Quality construction, excellent performance, one yr warranty....what's not to like??
1 Stars By Spectre9298 on 2017-01-04 Not happy with the quality over the money spent. I've always used JDM ASTAR bulbs in my vehicles. The quality has mostly been top knotch. However, I just blew $30 per pair of these bulbs to have one dead on arrival, three of four banks inop around the side of it, and none of these stay in my sockets. They pop right out. They're not secure. These also rattle like there's loose components when they're gently shaken by hand. What is this JDM ASTAR? Letting us long time loyal buyers down? I've always passed good recommended word about you as top of the line in quality to everyone I knew. But I'm seeing a decline here....
5 Stars By Kayla Morehead on 2015-07-11 Love these bulbs Love these bulbs. Clean and crisp compared to incandescent bulbs. Installed them on my 2012 Malibu LS, there is a length difference but I had no issues there (see first image). Second picture is of the car in park without the brakes applied, they were pretty bright. If I remember I'm going to get one at night with the brakes applied and add it.
2 Stars By Aman Quraishi on 2017-01-20 Good upgrade JDM sent to a completely wrong part that won't at all fit the tail light connections of my 2010 GMC yukon Denali. Bought 2 of these red led pairs to replace all my brake bulbs and none fitted. I'm not sure whether to blame AlumiGogo or JDM but it was mentioned that these will fit my Yukon Denali. Any how, I had to pay someone to grind the Base of these LEDS so that they fit my SUV and it worked. After the conversion, I didn't see a day night difference in light intensity at least for my SUV. It's definitely an upgrade over the incandescent bulbs but nothing that will leave you in awe. If they had sent me the right product that fitted seamlessly in my Denali then would have given these a 4 star.
5 Stars By Josh on 2014-08-16 red lenses, red bulbs! These lights were excellent behind the red lenses! I would recommend getting the red bulbs for the red lenses because with the white ones throw off the color a bit. MAKE SURE you have the right socket to use these leds! If you have the wrong one, you will blow these bulbs out. You may need to purchase a resistor to use with the bulbs to solve the hyperflash that may occur on some vehicles. All in all I would highly recommend these led bulbs to anyone looking to convert their old school incandescents.
5 Stars By Meredith A. on 2017-02-10 Durable, fast, cool. These units are running strong and lasting long. I run my lights all they time, so the tails are on even during the day and all the led chips are still working. Are they way crazy brighter then stock incandescent? Not really, at least in my large and airy tail light housings. Smaller, tighter spaces will increase perceived brightness. But they still "act like leds" if that makes sense. And that's really what I was going for.
3 Stars By Ibuyalothere on 2015-11-10 Very Bright, but did not work on my 2003 Ford Thunderbird These lights really are extremely bright! I just could not get them to work on my 2003 Ford Thunderbird (which is a CAN Bus vehicle). I tried 50 ohm resistors, and LED CAN Bus decoders, but they just would not work in my tail lights. They just lit up bright red and would not blink or light up for the brake light function. Plus, I could never get rid of the "Lamp Out" signal in the dash. I have learned that converting to LEDs can be a exercise in trial and error.
5 Stars By @GLG_AZ on 2017-01-08 Well made and very bright They work as advertised and I'm very happy with the brightness. I'm glad they don't come with the extra expense of resistor loads by default, because I don't really need loads with my Ford Escape. The blinkers do flash at a higher rate than before, but I don't see the downside to that. The advantage of LED brake lights is the faster response which gives other drivers an extra fraction of a second to react to your braking. And of course they will very likely never burn out.
