I had a whole colony of mice living in the shed next to my chicken coop. They would go in, and have a buffet whenever they wanted. I bought these, and caught one mouse in two weeks. I switched to a different style, and caught 13 of them in 4 days!
So I would say, they did not work for me.

Waste of time and money
I bought 24 of these after we saw a few mouse visitors, based on the manufacturer's recommendation to "go big" the first night. I painstakingly baited each trap with peanut butter, while wearing gloves, and set them around the perimeter of my city apartment's walls. The traps have been out for over a month and I haven't caught a single mouse. Hired an exterminator who caught one with snap traps, but the best method, by far, has been our exterminator's use of epoxy and plywood to seal entry points. I'd recommend a professional exterminator over these janky traps any day of the week. Waste of time and money. I gave two stars because the traps are easy to bait and set, but they're otherwise useless.

You don't have to worry about catching your fingers like you do setting the wooden ones
Trap works. You don't have to worry about catching your fingers like you do setting the wooden ones.

MICE LAUGHED AT THESE
I had an infestation that progressed from a single mouse to a house full in a matter of a few days. I bought dozens of traps, bait, etc. I tried these--and have yet to catch a single mouse with one of them. Don't waste your money.

These look to be well made, however been trying to capture a mouse in them for over a month with no luck. Perhaps my other forms of mice control got to them first.

Surprisingly effective. This is for small mice for sure. As the tunnel is quite small. But they are effective in my garage.

2 Traps = 2 Dead Mice
2 Traps + 2 nights = 2 Dead Mice...
Somehow a mouse had taken up residence in our home and at night would come up through a hole under our hand sink in our kitchen. We did not want to use poison as he might die inside of a wall somewhere, so we purchased a set of these traps. Yes, they are plastic, but they are easy to bait with peanut butter and easy to set. On the first night we caught a mouse under this hand sink, but after dropping the mouse in the trash (you do not have to touch them by the way), I reset the trap and put it back under the same hand sink and on night 2 we caught another one! We had no idea that there was more than one mouse in the house (Yes, I'm a poet)!
The trap just flat out works and for the price, you can't beat it.. They are reusable, so this is great for us country folk who have to deal with these varmints..
Going to buy some more to put in the garage and in the basement where we have seen some activity
