Worked great for us!
We purchased two sets of these for our upcoming trips to the Bahamas and also to Costa Rica. We live in Clearwater, FL., so we decided to test out the equipment earlier today.
I'm back online with a review to tell you that we were amazed how well these masks, snorkel, fin sets actually work. We took it out to a local beach and put everything to the test for 4-5 hours today.
What we needed was a complete mask/fin/snorkel set to take with us on our trips and use locally. We only occasionally snorkel, but when we do we want decent equipment. We've rented equipment before, so we had an idea of what we liked and didn't like.
Quality - We were actually impressed with the quality. We're not professional snorkelers or divers, so these fit our budget and feature requirements nicely.
Fit - everything fit well, and snugly where it should.
Mask - Pretty nice. Silicone skirt was comfortable and sealed well. No leaks. I do think we'll purchase the cloth strap or cloth cover to make it easier on the hair. Note: These did not have the mask purge on them. The US Diver site says that some models do, some don't.
Fins - They're definitely shorter than the longer, floppy kind. Believe it or not, we like these better. These are easier to pack and in use they were easier to maneuver. We'll probably get a set of neoprene socks, but today we wore our bare feet. My set was the 10-13 size (I wear a size 9 shoe). Her's was the 7-10 size (she wears a size 8 shoe). Her fins are slightly shorter than mine. I'd agree that they're a bit on the small side. They're definitely comfortable though.
Snorkel - The dry snorkel is a MUST have item for us now. It's worth every penny. Multiple waves washed over our snorkels it stayed dry. We also dove under water and spun around a bit - again, it stayed dry. Every now and again there was a tiny bit of water in the very bottom near the purge valve. It took less than a second to blow it out. Just to be clear - never did we inhale or feel like our snorkels had too much water in them. Amazing performance.
Mesh bag - Nice quality, and a nice thing to have to keep the equipment neat. The impression I get is that at some point these bags will wear out and I'll need to buy another mesh bag. However, it's decent quality and holds the equipment snugly. It's nice that there's a strap on the back so you can throw the snorkeling set over your shoulder.
All in all, we're really happy with our purchase. We're not heavily into diving or snorkeling, but when we go we want decent equipment. We're impressed with this set and have already recommended it to a couple of our friends.

Just got back from HAWAI'I - good product
Fin Sizing -
I wear a US size 9.5-10. I got the largest fin size and it fits well. The sides (width) are a little snug initially, but once you get into them they are fine.
For reference, I placed my foot on a piece of paper and outlined it. then I measured the widest point on the paper and that was 9.5cm. So if you're around that then this should be fine. I would say if you're any wider than 11-12cm, then do not get these as the fins will likely be too tight on the sides. The length is fine because you can adjust the length with the backing strap so i can see how someone who is size 13 can fit these, but the width is where most people are having their problems. The fins should be measured in width and not shoe size. If you have really wide feet these fins will be tight/borderline uncomfortable. I've read every single review about the fin size and I just wanted to make this as helpful as possible.
- functionally, they work very well. no complaints, just as good as the longer ones that most people are used to
- easy to adjust
- leaves a mark on your face every time because it seals pretty tightly to your face
- it did leak a little bit. you have to find the right fitting. but, once you do you should be fine.
I did find when I didn't shave the seal wasn't as good. For reference, I don't have a very hairy face. I shave every two days or so. So someone with a hairy face might have difficulties with sealing the goggles. My girlfriend had no problems with the goggles. they were ok.
AWESOME SNORKEL. Not once did water come in. This is a true dry snorkel. The mechanism looks cheap and seems like it can break easily as it is just plastic and a simple pivot design but it WORKS. I dove under water, no water. I was crashed with 3-4 feet waves and no water. This was absolutely an amazing product. Makes snorkeling that much easier without all that salt water in your mouth.
After about 20mins my jaw did get a little sore, but that wasn't a big deal. I would definitely buy this snorkel again.
The bag that comes with this is AWESOME! You can fit your towel and beach mat in it. It's perfect. You can just grab this and head to the beach. It was so functional. i'm so glad it came with such an awesome bag.

Worked great for a week in Hawaii
We are first-time snorkelers and bought two of these sets (one M and one S) for Hawaii. Other than the netting on one of the travel bags tearing at the seam before we even left, everything worked perfectly. We used them four times. The guided sea turtle trip we went on provided gear but it was the open top snorkels so we were glad we had our own dry-top snorkels. Plus, we had used them earlier in the week and everything was adjusted for us. No need to get familiar or adjust new gear. I also like having everything clean, sanitized, and ready to use when I wanted. Plus, no need to go rent or worry about return.
The masks fit perfectly. The dry-top snorkel never let any water in. Medium fins fit me (8 - 8.5 shoe) and small fit my wife (7.5 shoe). The fins would come loose and need tightening every once in a while. Just pulled each strap to quickly tighten. Seams like once adjusted, you can use something (like a zip tie) to tie the loops in the straps together to prevent them from moving. Some reviewers said these broke (not sure which part) so I was sure to be gentle just in case. The buckle on the fin did come off once when we were taking them off but it just snaps back on. Not sure if that's the problem people had but it wasn't "broken".
I was hesitant to spend the money to buy since we had to check a bag to take these and wasn't sure if they would work well vs cost for a week of rental. In the end, I'm glad we had them because of the freedom to use whenever and they were ours.

Snorkels leak, fins don't fit and also don't stay adjusted, cheap snorkel clip.
I bought three of these because of the ratings, one for myself, one for my son, and one for anyone else who wanted to tag along. My 14yo son and I eagerly pulled two sets out the day they arrived and headed out to La Jolla Cove for some snorkeling (80 mile round trip).
When we go there, we pulled them out of their bags and headed into the surf. Installing my snorkel onto my mask, I was a bit concerned about the attachment. Rightly so - as I flipped my mask down, the snorkel clip broke. I've never in my life broken a snorkel clip.
We were both surprised at how short the fins were. He's a size 10 foot and I'm a size 11. These are rated size 10-13. I was unable to properly fit these to my foot because the fins were too small for my normal, size 11 foot - there was insufficient adjustment. My son was able to get his to fit, but the adjusters would not stay in place and found himself constantly fiddling with the straps. I experienced the same issue but I only had one tooth of bite on either side of mine.
We found the snorkels leaked from the bottom purge value, requiring frequent clearing - also disappointing as they were otherwise comfortable.
The masks were fine overall. The adjusters were great, with a nice positive lock, and they were easy to tighten. A little spit and they didn't fog up for the duration. The masks we were happy with.
I sent these back within hours of pulling them out of the box and am now looking for alternatives. I cannot recommend this product.

Could be much better.
There are a lot of good things to say about this set; sadly there are even more bad things to say.
First the good:
Fins - The smaller size fins are great. The compact size make them very easy to pack. They are lightweight and much easier to walk in than standard-size fins. There isn't a significant sacrifice in functionality either compared to full-size fins. The foot box is actually quite comfortable. We bought water socks to help minimize chaffing, but ended up not needing them at all.
Snorkel - The best part of the whole kit. The snorkel fit (in the mouth) great, was easily adjusted, and didn't let in a drop of water when dropping below the surface, intentional or not.
Mask - The mask was great as well. Fit was excellent. Adjusted easily and didn't have any problems with seal, even with a beard/mustache. Range of view was really nice as well. Some masks feel like you are in a tunnel; not this one.
Case - The carry case was a great addition.
Fins: The adjustment straps just DO NOT hold. I spent half my time snorkeling reaching down to pull the straps tight again. Thankfully there are big loops to grab, so it wasn't difficult to adjust. But, it's ridiculous to have to retighten them so frequently. My wife had the exact same problem with hers. The strap snaps/clips that supposed make putting on the fins quickly were decidedly not-so-quick. If you didn't slide the clip head into the slot perfectly it just wouldn't fit. I had to be sitting down to engage the clip every time. Good luck if if comes undone in the water.
Snorkel - the plastic clip holding the snorkel on the mask snapped within the first 5 min of using it. It's silly - they couldn't have made it out of cheaper, thinner plastic. Luckily the tour group I was with had some extra, heavy-duty, rubber attachments that I imagine will survive the apocalypse. My wife had to be super careful with hers to avoid the same fate.
Mask - The mask wouldn't stop fogging up. Despite a solid seal and liberal use of anti-fog spray, both my mask and my wife's mask kept fogging up and had to repeatedly be cleared.
Case: I think this was designed to fit full-size fins and repurposed for the smaller fins because the case was just a bit too large. Also the shoulder strap was pretty uncomfortable on the shoulder. It was easier to just carry the strap in my hand. It would have worked well to carry it like a sling bag, but the strap was quite long enough to make that happen.
I really wanted to like this set, but the negative factors were just too much to recommend buying again.

Don't rely on it for a trip, you'll be pissed when it breaks and it will.
I bought for my pool, worked ok for about ten minutes, then straps and fins came loose and now won't stay tight. It's now wall decor for my tiki hut.
I should have known better, but thought I'd try them.
If your getting them for a big trip then I suggest going to your local dive shop and get some quality equipment. You'll thank me later.

OK snorkel set. Snorkel-to-Mask clip is a joke.
Overall, the set is pretty good. We purchased two sets, one for me and one for my wife. FINS. I purchased the LARGE to fit a 10-13 men's shoe. The size runs small. I have a narrow size 12 foot and wore a thin fin sock, and adjusted as large as the fins could go, they were marginally sized OK. My wife, who wears a women's size 8 shoe, purchased the MEDIUM that is supposed to fit women's 8.5 to 11 and she had no problem with fit. The fins are definitely short, but the fin length was adequate and the short length does not tend to cause one's legs to cramp after an extended snorkeling session. Having open heeled fins like these is a must for snorkeling. Wear fin socks to be able to walk across the rocks and coral into the water, then slip on the fins when it is deep enough to swim. MASK. Both of our masks fit OK. Don't forget to pick up some anti-fog. With fresh anti-fog, the lenses stayed clear. A neoprene mask strap to cover the rubber mask strap is also a recommended purchase to helps avoid pulling longer hair when removing your mask.. SNORKEL. The clip to attach the snorkel is worse than PATHETIC. One our clips broke before we got into the water. The other lasted maybe 2 minutes. The clips are a very weak, brittle plastic that should be a huge embarrassment to US Diver. We picked up some cheap cloth covered elastic "pony tail holders" from Wal-Mart and they worked much better for attaching the snorkel to the mask. The snorkel itself functioned OK. GEAR BAG. The bag is nice. The snorkel set packs up into a nice, neat package that does not take up much room in a suitcase.

GREAT set -- and worth the price to have your own gear!
Bought four sets of these for a trip to Roatan, Honduras....sick of renting gross snorkel gear. We really enjoy snorkeling, and are looking forward to using these for years to come.
1. The carrying bag is super handy, and packs well in a carry on. (Also helpful that the fins are shorter.)
2. Mask suction was great -- no leaks. The strap did catch in our hair a few times, so I am thinking of getting a strap cover before our next trip.
3. Fins -- These are compact, but I thought they worked great. I liked to put them on a little loose and then snugging them up in the water from side-to-side and then over the ankle. Great fit and no issues -- I think if you tried to just torque it, might snap -- little by little was a better fit and worked fine. Rubbed my husband a bit so he might try neoprene socks.
4. Snorkel -- Purge valve was awesome -- no issues and worked really well.
1. The one-size-fits-all masks can be tricky to adjust and there may be some leakage, but it's minimal...and worth it to have our own masks.
2. The fins can be a but tricky....so many reviews refer to the straps breaking, which will happen if you pull too hard. The trick is to put this on when you are in enough water to float, and use a little finesse. Once you get use to putting them on, they work great and the compact design is good.
For the price, couldn't ask for more....fit was good, purge valve worked, and the fins did a great job even though they are a bit shorter. Only suggestion -- take some zip ties or extra keepers in case your mask/snorkel connector breaks (our were great, but my super patient hubby breaks his every time). You can get them at a dive shop, or purchase a few online for MUCH cheaper and keep them in your bag.
Update 8/15: After numerous snorkeling excursions, these are still working GREAT...well worth the price to have our own gear!

Lasted 1 outing... a terrible product.
Based on the reviews on this product i would guess i received a defective unit but i received 2 of them. I bought 2 of these sets for a trip to maui, for some light snorkeling and fun. I love the fact they had the mesh bad which was sadly the best part of the product.
The mask never held out water for me or my fiance, never once were we able to get it to seal properly, and i used to professionally dive with my dad. The issue is the seal on the nose and lower lip has no support structure to it so it has no reason to seal properly. The molded plastic while looking good doesn't actually do anything but collect sand.
Loved the auto close feature... until it nearly choked me to death! the tube for some reason beyond me is rotatable. so when you dive down and start coming back up? the water pressure makes it rotate aay from your face causing the close feature to engage and when you try and pull in a breath it refuses to let it in so you get a sudden lack of oxygen when you want it most... FUN!
That lack of thought into the product alone killed it for me... but then mother nature threw a fun wave at me and the snorkel which only has a small plastic bendable clip to hold it on ripped away from me and was lost forever.
The fins are the best part of this, other than the bag of course. The fins have a great use and fit well, only issue we had with them is that the strap for the foot, which you can tighten all you want. will always fall off when being used regularly... however the fins themselves stay on well regardless so i have no really gripe about the fins.
Overall im not suprised given the low price of the product, and i only lost $20 versus renting some in the islands... but next time ill just rent... if you want a good pair of goggles. I would not go with this product as their must be some serious quality control issues.

Great set for travelers
I bought it for my cruise vacation in Eastern Caribbean in March 2013. it worked really well for beginner type of snorkeling. I really enjoyed that the snorkel did not get water in it, and was very easy to use. I never had a problem snorkeling without a vest, which is pretty good for my beginner experience level. My wife and son also used it despite that they would need a smaller size, it still worked well for them. It fits easily in a small travel bag, and is pretty light to take on a vacation. I read that some reviewers said the fins may not be big enough for swimming in the current. I cannot say if that's the case or not, they seemed to work well. I tried to swim without them and felt huge difference. They helped a lot.
- dry snorkel
- mask fits well and doesn't get water inside
- reasonable price
- Nothing major. The bag strap could be more convenient, but it's not bad
