Todd's Seeds- Wheatgrass 5lbs
Iv never grown wheatgrass, but found out most of my animals (guinea pigs, tortoise, ducks, finches, etc.) would enjoy eating it so I decided to give it a try!
The package came on time, was double bagged and safely packed in the box.
I was surprised just how much 5 lbs of seeds were, and how easy it was to grow!
Well worth the about $12.
Especially to make all my little critters so happy.
I would definitely order from Todd's Seeds again.

A great buy!
Getting ready to place my 2nd order now! 1st order, per AlumiGogo, was 12/28/14. Yes, I took a long break. With about 2lbs. left, I used 4 x 4in. planters and every day, I soaked 1oz. of seed, then planted it the next day. So for the last month or so, I had a rotating crop of enough grass for a 1oz. shot everyday. To my pleasant surprise, after sitting around for over 2yrs, the seeds still germinated. Not sure how close to 100% germinated, and will say that 1oz of dry seed after almost 14 days did produce enough grass for a 1oz shot glass of wheatgrass juice. The results appear similar to what I got when I 1st bought the seed. This was good enough to buy it again.

Great seeds, good price
This is my first order of wheatgrass seeds and first order from Todd's Seeds so I don't have a comparison. I will say that the seeds were well packaged (double bagged) and labeled with the website address which contained the planting instructions. I got the instructions off the website (first time growing wheatgrass). I followed the instructions as written and became worried because my seeds did not sprout during the soaking period. I even soaked them an extra two days. So, I planted them anyway and they grew into a lush expanse of grass. I juiced the grass and it was good. So, I will continue to purchase my seeds for Todd and you should too.
I do recommend storing the seeds in an airtight container (I use an oxo pop container) because I've read reviews which complain about some kind of bugs that frequent wheatgrass seeds. I'm guessing this is common to all seeds, no just Todd's.

Beautiful wheatgrass that is easy to grow.
Unfortunately I did not take any pictures, but I will be buying again. I used these seeds in my chicken run to grow some wheat grass. This did not disappoint. I blocked a section off, laid the seeds on the hardened ground, then put a bunch of my compost on top, watered a lot, and let it go. a week later, the wheat grass was about 6 inches tall, and full. The chickens proceeded to destroy it. I will be buying all my wheat seeds from Todds seeds because I now know they are high quality, easy to grow, and just a beautiful wheatgrass.

My old Buddy cat loves to eat this and I think it helps his digestive system.
My old Buddy cat loves to eat this and I think it helps his digestive system. Way back, almost 20 years, when he was young we use to tie him outside so and he ate grass and seemed to love it. So now my old Buddy cat loves to eat this inside the house and I think it helps his digestive system. We make up a planting pan of it every 2 weeks or so.

Easy growing for the haphazard gardener
Beautiful fat berries that germinated in 12 hours, green sprouts within 24 hours and with an amateurs hand at it. I made 5 different batches of them for my cats all slightly different in the environment. (all were germinated in a jar though) I placed them on totally dry soil, totally swampy, "just right" soil and placed them in a variety of areas from total shade (some indirect light) to full sun through a window. They didn't care. They all just grew. Exactly the type of seed I was looking to find.

Seed to harvest in 9 days
Planted outdoors, this went from seed to harvest in 9 days. High germination rate. No mold issues. Placing another order from same vendor today.

Very easy and fast to grow, 1 lb bag kept my fat cat in all the grass he could want for about 9 months.
Second time buying these. I keep them growing constantly for my very fat cat, who loves them. I soak them for a few hours then put them on top of the soil in a small pot with a wet paper towel covering them. I keep the paper towel wet and within about 2 days I have more grass than my fat cat could possibly need.
I couldn't resist buying this huge bag this time, rather than the 1 lb bag; since it's so easy and fast to grow, I will probably start growing some for my own consumption. This stuff is super healthy.

Good stuff for the price
Disclaimer: this is for my chickens so maybe the bar is lower than if you drink this in some sort of gourmet wheatgrass shot form? After several attempts I found that following their directions led to the best results, go figure. The only thing different, after a couple days sprouting indoors in a drainable tray, I tossed them in an outdoor raised garden bed, covered with landscape cloth for a few days to help keep moist, then removed and there were plenty of 3/4" blades. The chickens love both the grass and the soaked sprouts. The only better deal I found was with Azure Standard and then only with larger sizes and their weird delivery method.
