AQUA CELL DOES NOT "FLOAT" SO WELL
We bought this float as a replacement because of the impressive video that told how rugged and durable it is, even though it is a little pricey. When it arrived this seemingly "almost indestructible" float already had a tear in it! Granted, it was a small tear but a tear nonetheless. Since it is on the back we opted to try the float before we returned it. Well, there was the tale! My husband, who is an average sized man, tried it and it floats alright along the body. However, for some reason, the headrest sinks into the water. Don't let the item photo fool you- with the lady lying comfortably out of the water. I am an averaged sized woman and found that if I lie on my back, water tends to puddle under the head. If I lie on my stomach, the water splashes up onto my face. I tried several different spots to see if the headrest would tilt upward...no luck. If you really want a float to slightly lie above the water and not splash water onto your face/ears, you'd better shop elsewhere. We are returning ours...

Aqua Cell Deluxe pool float
this float is easy to use, floats well, but I am partially submerged in the water and I weigh about 185 lbs. I don't think it would be appropriate for a larger person (say 6' 4", 250 lbs.) My other float was more sturder, but the surface cracked exposong clear foam; therefore, we had to throw it away (fountaingate brand), whereas this has the color all through it. The only negative is that it is so light. Don't buy the thinner one at 1 1/41 ".

the best float
My husband and I have a pool and we love to float on the water. We have bought a number of floaties in the last 5 years and they all looked good when they came and then they melted in the sun. Although they were not cheap, they were foam covered and the covering did not last. This float is both very comfortable and it holds up to the southern sun and hear. We love it so much we ended up getting another 2.

Don't buy this.
I received this on May 21 and am very unhappy with this float. I didn't get a chance to use it earlier because of the weather here in Michigan. We finally got the pool up in time for the grandchildren late June. It doesn't float very well already has large cracks on the under side.
I contacted Wayfair and they told me they only have a 30 day policy.
update 07/18/2013: AlumiGogo.com has refunded my money for this. Thank-you AlumiGogo :)

Not so much!!
Whoops!! I bought two of these in July and both have rips in them. Can I return them? I bought them because I was under the impression they were guaranteed for a year.

In the Pool
It's okay....floatation is as others reported somewhat limited but while you're in the water you're suppose to get wet. It replaced a thicker foam floaty that we had for over 15 years (started to tear and fall apart). The older floaty had better flotation but couldn't find a similar product for what this cost.

Like this one because it is the same material all ...
As stated in previous reviews this will not keep you dry and out of the water. It will how ever allow you to float and able to splash some cooling water on yourself. Like this one because it is the same material all the way thru. Kind of like the difference between porcelain tile and ceramic tile.

I'm returning it because it's not as sturdy as the previous one I owned
I'm returning it because it's not as sturdy as the previous one I owned. I sink too low in the water and I'm uncomfortable laying in it. This is a very nice mat. But it's not for me.

Did not feel they were truthfully advertised. They may ...
Did not feel they were truthfully advertised. They may by 1.75 inch thick but they are very light weight and therefore do not hold you out of the water as well as I would have expected.....that is why I wanted the thicker float.
