Our bedroom closet wasn't cutting it so we decided to convert a spare bedroom into a closet and looked into racks. These were priced great but we were a bit hesitant to trust them. After reading other reviews about their ability to hold up with a lot of weight we ordered several. They seemed a bit flimsy at first but once clothes and shoes were placed they did the job perfectly. I couldn't be happier!

This is a great system if lacking closet space! It holds much more than expected and is quite sturdy. In the photo, it looks slightly lopsided, but it's only because there is a dip in the floor.

Holds board games.
I picked this up to use with board games. I understood that it was originally design for lighter things like pillows and sheets. I'm happy to report that the shelf is able to collectively hold over 200 lbs of board games. Tip: if you plan to store board games on it, lay out some cardboard or thick paper so the wires that compose the shelves don't leave indents on your boxes.
Update: by request, I have uploaded a picture to show how I fit 200 lbs of board games. There are over 80 games on this shelf (this includes card games and games in small boxes.

Highly Satisfied and Here's Why...With Pictures
This is an update to my review below. I bought a second rack because I like the first one so well and it is working great! I added more photos to show how to put together. This time, I was able to put together by myself and without additional tools (unless it bothers your hands to hit hard against the plastic, then I would recommend a rubber mallet).
Overall this rack amazed me. I bought it as a temporary solution while transitioning and it is still holding strong. I did not think it would hold so well but I am going to buy another. When putting it together, I would highly suggest having a second person and a rubber mallet to help you connect the poles and the plastic pieces together (unless you have very strong hands and do not might hitting them hard against the plastic). A couple of my black pieces had slightly broken edges but due to the timing, I decided not to send the items back for replacement. I am glad that I did not because it truly did not make a difference and I do see them as well (I do recommend sending back or requesting new pieces if they effect the stability). I currently have women's dress/work shirts on the top hanging rack, multiple pairs of slacks on the lower hanging rack, towels and random items on the shelves to the side and a few light-weight items across the top. I do think the hanging racks would hold jeans but because of the weight and not wanting to risk it, I folded mine and placed them on the bottom rack. I have not moved the rack since I put it together and I cannot speak to how it does when being moved but I am sure that if you take your items off the rack, move it to it's new location and then add the items back, everything will be fine! Again, I would highly recommend and hope that you enjoy yours as well.

Old apartment no closet space.
Very sturdy. No issues putting together. The directions say no tools but I suggest using a small hammer to securely insert the bars. Great for closet expansion.

I don't have I closet in my room and my clothes stayed in laundry baskets and was always wrinkled. So I got tired of it and I decided to look on here and after goin through about a hundred different ones, and reading all the reviews I decided to go with this one. I honestly love it so far it was easy to put together and it holds all of my clothes and shoes. It is very sturdy, it does not bend or lean like a few reviews said. I absolutely love it!!!

Great Option for the Price!
Decent organizer, especially for the price.
After reading reviews on here, I made absolutely sure each piece was secure, as I assembled the organizer. I'm not overly "handy", but I had this together in about 20-25 minutes, and that's including disassembling a few pieces, after I became overconfident and put a piece in the wrong place.
Anyhow, I had been looking for an organizer to put into an existing closet, that only measures 46" wide (so all the 4' organizers were out). After piecing this together, I popped off my closet doors, and the organizer fit like a glove. For those concerned about weight, not sure if this helps, but I used this organizer to put my knit sweaters on the top rack, hoodies on the bottom rack, and stacked my long sleeve shirts in the cubbies. I wouldn't say there are hundreds of pounds on the thing, but it's packed.
Thus far, I've experienced no leaning, sagging, or other indication of a structural issue.
I'd recommend, and would definitely buy again.

Solved my Storage Issue
My house lacks closet space so I purchased one of these to set up my spare room as a "dressing room". It came in a manageable box, on time, and intact. My daughter and I had a fun time putting it together. It's light but sturdy. I filled it up almost immediately so ordered a second one. I put the second one together myself in a few minutes and opted not to use the middle rung. They fit nicely against the wall side by side and don't take up too much real estate in the room. I bought these together with 2 sets of hangers, a hamper, and some collapsible baskets for the side shelving. If there is one con to this product its that storing heels on the floor of it can be difficult as the heels fall through the slats. This could be easily be remedied by sliding wood underneath or something along those lines and is in no way a deal breaker for me. I can easily disassemble this unit If I decide to move. I'd definitely buy this product again.

VERY LIGHTWEIGHT USE ONLY!! Heavy clothing like jeans will make it break!!!
For lightweight laundry use, this rack is fine and easy to use. I purchased 3 of these to use in a studio apartment as my closet. I live where it's quite cold in the winter so I do have some heavy outerwear like wool coats etc. For sweaters, jeans, blazers, dress pants, shirts these racks just collapsed under the weight. I tried redistributing weight to even it out and that did not work either. The only way these racks worked for me was to only use them for about 1/2 of my clothing and NO shoes or things like blankets etc. Eventually one rack began to lean and fell apart one night at 3:00am!! Another sort of folded in the middle. The third one kept coming apart. It may be that if the pieces are all glued it helps distribute weight evenly. I eventually ended up with everything in a wrinkled heap on the floor. For very lightweight use, I'm sure they are fine -- but for regular everyday use as a real closet?? They are far too flimsy. I made the purchase for three because the reviews are good. I wish now I had only bought one-- Bottom line: DO NOT PURCHASE for regular 'closet' type use, they just are not strong enough!!!

Okay for adding additional space in closet
I purchased this product with hopes of adding extra hanging and organizing space in our closet back 1 year ago.
- very easy to assemble
- adds the additional closet place
- top rod: there is not enough space to easily take the hangers on and off (see picture). Maybe it is just the type of my hanger but it was so difficult to take the hangers off that I resulted to using cascading hanger. If this product could be changed, I would definitely advise the design to allow little more space between the top rod and the shelf above.
- bottom rod: plastic part where the rod is inserted broke off on one side (see picture). I understand that jeans can be heavy but I am very disappointed that the rod could not withstand the weight of maybe 15 jeans.
Overall, while the price is okay I don't think I would buy this product again in the future.
