Has minor flaws, but overall a good mirror for a decent price
The clip on this mirror is made in such a way that if you can clip it somewhere other than your monitor it would probably be best. I unfortunately don't have another location. Because of how long the clip part is I have to put it all the way to the corner, which is fine, just so the clip doesn't hit the screen itself, but it's wider than the edge of my monitor so it does block the screen a bit and slides around on occassion. The only issue with having to put it all the way in the corner is that it weighs my monitor down just a bit, so my screen tilts a bit to the right (but not a lot) instead of sitting square and upright. If you're not using a mounting arm but have a more stationary monitor, then this shouldn't be a problem. It also can slide around sometimes and ends up crooked or knocked to one side, so I just have to readjust it once in a while. It works well though, and has a nice pivoting ball joint so I can angle it just the way I want. It allows me to see down the hallway behind me to see who's coming, which is all I needed it to do. I only knocked one star off because of how it doesn't stay securely all the time and tilts the screen with it's weight. I think if the clip part was a little skinnier to account for the fact that it has to sit in the corner of the monitor and maybe had some rubber grip to keep it in place instead of just the plastic grooves that don't grip to a plastic monitor, then it would probably be 5 stars.
All in all it does the job and for a pretty reasonable price, by far the best quality of the mirror itself and not warping or being distorted like I've seen on most of these types of computer mirrors.

Pricey but almost Perfect!
This is a bit expensive for a mirror but it is great for what I needed. I needed a small but decent sized clip-on mirror for my computer since I work on the ground level with a large window to my back. This mirror is just the right size and doesn't stick out much so it isn't an eye sore. The lens is slightly convex making the viewing angle great for such a little mirror. Only complaints are that the mirror is easily scratched since it is not glass and the clip is a bit weak for where I need to clip it. Otherwise, this is was almost exactly what I was looking for.

Great if you can place it
In the end I got it to work, and that much is great. I'm somewhat infamous for being oblivious to the rest of the world and startling when people come by to talk. This has cured that. I was afraid that I'd have to consciously stare at the thing directly from time to time and hope to get lucky in spotting someone, but luckily, our peripheral vision is sensitive to motion, so anytime someone walks past / to my cube opening I see it out of the corner of my eye even though my attention is focused elsewhere. Wonderful, I haven't been startled since.
I'm lucky I was able to set it up though. I couldn't clip it to my monitor because the edges are sloped, but that's not this thing's fault. What is, is that the stretch of sticky foam that goes in the bottom was too long for it, and the edges of the scooped out place it's supposed to go stick up, forcing the foam out, making it concave instead of flat, giving it next-to no useful sticking surface. Sure you could snip a bit off before taking off the backing, but you don't think of that before you peel it. It'd be better for it to be a little short than too long. Also, the stickiness isn't enough to support it hanging sideways, which again limits your options to place it. Another complaint that I don't know how to tell them to solve is that its side-to-side angling is very limited. Perhaps if they made the part that attaches to the mirror another ball joint it would help. But that would increase its shipping size. I positioned it by clipping it on the underside of something and like I say that works great, but I'm sure there'll be people who can't use this for lack of ability to place it.

A life saver for real!!!
I bought this for an employee that I scared everytime i walked up behind her (at her desk) and rather than being responsible for her demise via heart attack I thought I would try this mirror out. It clips right to the to of her monitor and now she can see me coming a mile away!!! The mirror itself is a little small but it has certainly fixed my problem with my employee. Thanks for keeping my workforce alive!!!

This mirror meets the need in an office environment
This mirror fits on the top of a monitor well but it is best to clip it to the corner so it does not interfere with viewing of the screen. It is big enough that you can catch movement behind you but not so big that you see everything. It met the need I was hoping it would...a prompt to turn around and greet someone entering my cubicle.

Good but pops off and shoots across the room
Does what it's supposed to -- a tiny bit distorted, but I can deal with that. I have a flat screen and if this little mirror is bumped in any shape, form, or fashion, it flies off like a deranged mouse trap and restarts your heart and any heart around ya.

This is the perfect size to see people entering my cubicle
This is the perfect size to see people entering my cubicle. I hate sitting with my back to a doorway, but I have no choice. This was the perfect solution. It is smaller so it isn't distracting when people are just walking by. It clipped right to my monitor with no issue.

This mirror easily clips to the top of my computer and is ...
I sit in a cubical with my back to people. I am often listening to music or books with headphones so I don't know someone is standing behind me until they tap my shoulder, causing me to jump which then makes them jump. This mirror easily clips to the top of my computer and is easy to adjust so I can see anyone who walks up. I've already had 2 people in my office ask me to send them a link to the mirror so they can get one as well because the other ones they have used are not as good.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED
Moved to a new building for my job. Where I now sit is in a heavy traffic area, so I have people coming up from behind me off and on all day. I have a "thing" about people behind me, so this has fulfilled exactly what I needed. I shopped around on AlumiGogo and was glad to find one that clipped AND had double sided tape. I use the clip so I don't damage company property and so I can take it with me when I retire. Like other reviewers, I thought it was pricey for a little bit of plastic. There were cheaper choices but, again, this fit the bill better than others.

At first, it looks smaller than I expected. But sure enough, I put it on my desk and it works perfectly. It's a discreet way of knowing who's behind you; I use it constantly. It's wonderful to feel like I'm not going to be snuck up on! It fits securely on my work monitor but when I tried it on my home computer, on a Samsung monitor, it didn't fit at all. So I fear that might be an issue depending on the depth of your monitor or if there's a slight slant to the back of it (Samsung monitors tend to have this). Overall, I'm satisfied; it does the job I bought it for!
