The best way to get LEGO minifigures! A few small things I would change, though/
The LEGO education minifigures sets are the most affordable way I have found to collect LEGO minifigures! I especially like that they have an even distribution of male and female characters, although the two-sided nature of the girl heads is a bit bizarre, as is the quantity of makeup they are wearing and the fact that they have crows' feet on their eyes. Usually their hair covers the second head, but for the firefighting girl, for example, you have a second face staring out the back at you!
I'm also not sure why they included snowmen, and why the snowmen have skeleton faces.

I needed several LEGO people for a cake I was making for my sons birthday so I found this box and was AMAZED when it arrived. There were 22 people ( which would cost $90 if purchased separately PLUS all the weapons etc..) PLUS weapons and accessories to got with them. My favorite was the Chef with the Pizza oven! Great buy! I recommend to LEGO lovers !

I bought these for my 3 - year old daughter who LOVES Legos.
Legos have come a long way since I was a kid and now that there are sets specifically for girls (Lego Friends) my daughter is hooked.
I decided to get this set so my daughter could integrate them into the Lego Friend sets she has and let me say they have been a BIG hit.
There's really nothing that can compare to fueling a child's imagination and Legos have certainly been a mainstay in my daughters life.

I got these for favors for my child's birthday party and opened the box when it was too late for me to order something better. D
So, in contrast to how the minifigs are depicted in the pictures, every single one had a grumpy face. The set had two kinds of faces only--male faces with little scowls, and female faces with two sides, one slightly grumpy and one very angry. I think Lego must have put all of their extra grouchy faces in this box figuring nobody would care because it is an "education" set designed for school programs or something. I got these for favors for my child's birthday party and opened the box when it was too late for me to order something better. Don't waste your money. I was very disappointed in LEGO for packaging something this way--I'm used to trusting that they offer a quality product.

Greatest Little Community....5 plus
I have ordered these twice for different grandchildren and they use them in their different Lego sets. Imaginations are greatly used by these little community figures......thank you Lego for adding them to the Lego world and the world of my grandchildren.

Perfect for any Lego lover
I bought these for my 4-year-old who is a huge Lego fan. Imagine my surprise when everyone in the family was able to play with these!
You'll receive a huge selection of people and accessories. This does not come with directions but there are a few little things to build - like the skateboarding ramp. It's still fairly simple to figure out, but younger kids might need a little help.
I loved how many different tiny parts this came with - fruit, bikes, a scarecrow, and bread. This is a great addition to any Lego collection.

My son loves it!!
Wow, this is an awesome set! My 7 year old son absolutely loves it. It evokes tons of creativity, and he has played with it for hours. Lots of boy lego guys and accessories, and plenty for the girls too. Super creative add ons, like a lego cat (my personal favorite), dog, laptop, jackhammer, flowers, bread, cash, all kinds of interesting things. Love it, and highly recommended by this Mom of 8.

Almost as pictured
These are swell figures (altho quite/unnecessarily pricey). I can see some parts inside the plastic bag that areN'T pictured on box front, so am wondering if they're extras -or- substitutes for something missing [as reported by other Reviewers]. Won't know for sure until after grandson opens the bag, at which time of course it'd be too late/inconvenient/disappointing to exchange. Overall, the gentle faces/occupations are very wholesome and just what I prefer my tot to play with (versus monsters, freaks, fighters, etc). Also (like another Reviewer complained), I do wish all the figures came individual wrapped along with their respective accessories, because it's overwhelming for us to locate the parts needed to complete each person in a heap of 250+ pieces. Then they could be easily doled out over time -as rewards- which is better for a child, in my opinion, than getting nearly quarter-hundred figures all in one day.

Great for all ages ....
... well, not good for one year olds because these people are little and we wouldn't want anyone to choke on the small parts. But as soon as your kids (grandkids) are able to play without putting everything in his or her little mouth, then this is a terrific LEGO starter. The characters are adorable and easy to manipulate. They're also fun for the parents (grandparents) to get down on the floor and play with the little ones. Our grandchildren easily like the people more than the houses and monsters (well, one likes the monsters most but ...) The first real creative play I sw with the kids came from LEGOS -- i.e., they have the characters talk to each other instead of just blasting each other apart. So I like them for that reason alone. Plus they're very cute!
