Good clips that work with several different light styles
Good clips that work with several different light styles. I use mine to hold C9 bulbs and also hang icicle lights underneath. They are adjustable to hang on gutters or slid under shingles. Only problems I had were having to put them together and the clips I left up for next Christmas after removing the lights, shattered when I tried to hang the lights again. If I could leave them up for the following year, I would have rated them a 5. Since u had to replace and reassemble each one this year, I rated a 3. I did repurchase because there was nothing else that worked as well.

Excellent Price-Performance, Included Two Spares, No Need for Commercial Versions if your Light are lightweight LEDs
I purchased a box of these to clip decorative lighting to a 40-foot-long rain gutter. The box was packaged with 102 in the box, so after I had clipped two (2) packages of 50-count amps, there were two clips remaining. That's a nice margin of error in case the new buyer can't quite comprehend how these work. They seem lightweight, but are adequate to attach the LED-based C-series bulbs I was clipping. In that length of gutter, there was a bulb every five or six inches so any single clip didn't have a lot of work to do. Even so, once I attached two or three to an end, I was able to go to the opposite end of the light string without worry of clip damage or lights falling during the installation.
These are the best price-performance I could find on AlumiGogo, and for this use I would not buy the much more expensive "commercial" versions. These units snap apart to provide an angled clip for the bulb and they hold the bulb nicely and uniformly upright. It looks very pleasant at night, and I'm confident they will last at least one season, and the two spare clips might replace any that break for a second season.

Perfect for gutters
These work great for rain gutters or thin tiles. I was hoping they would work on the thicker (1") roof tiles on my house, but they wouldn't open up that wide.
To use them on a rain gutter, you twist one of the pieces off to detach it, and then you snap the post into the smaller hole. The larger piece clips into the gutter and the smaller piece holds the light. You can twist that up and down to adjust the orientation of the light.
TIP: Don't wait until you plan to use these before you assemble them. It takes a little time, so you should plan to sit in front of the TV and put them all together the night before.

These worked great once I figured out that they break apart into two pieces that you can then attach to each other so you can attach the lights to gutter. You can then swivel the two pieces so the lights point straight up or straight out.

DO NOT GET for Standard C9's. Won't hold bulbs securely.
Purchased these to hang standard C9's on my gutters, and to hold them all straight. During installation, I should have known there was going to be a problem... The clip holding the bulb barely grasped the bulb. After doing 2 levels of my house (200 lights/clips total), my wife went to move the power cord just around a post, and down came 86/100 lights... almost the entire strand popped out just like dominoes! For now, I put re-attached each bulb, but put 1 clip to hold the wire every ~5ft, so if they do come down, hopefully I don't have to re-attach more than 5 feet at a time.
The only reason for 2 stars (and not 1) is that the clips do hold onto the gutter very well, and if you just hang your lights by the wire, I'm sure these will work well for you.
Better options out there for hanging C9s.

My new go-to clip for hanging lights
These clips worked great for attaching to the gutters - straight part inside the gutter and curved part to hook over the lip. Used them for icicle type lights - the main wire goes into the hook which (when installed) is at the bottom and on the outside of the gutter. I had no problems with the clips breaking - not a single one. Some reviews complained about the top breaking off - it is supposed to do that. The top breaks off and you snap the prongs on the end of the top piece into the loop of the main piece to get a right-angle type clip. Works great!

I love these clips! I initially received these when we paid someone to put up Christmas lights for us. The next year, we paid someone else to do it and they used some other cheap clips that bent easily and failed often. I finally found these clips on AlumiGogo several years later and couldn't be happier that I did. I've been putting up the lights myself the last few years and have been forced to use some of the cheap clips from the other guy. I bought 4 boxes of these to ensure I have plenty for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend these.

Great Light Clips
I purchased some of these from a local hardware store and I was happy to see that AlumiGogo now carries them so I ordered some more. These clips work great on our new gutters we had installed. The gutters we have are like the "leaf guard" brand but not since they were manufactured from a local company that does siding and gutters. I was worried these clips would not work but they Do Work and they work great! I was able to hang icicle lights and if I had another set of lights I could use those as well using the top connector. Adams has made a great product here. I highly recommend these clips since they work for multiple different configurations. Good quality and these things are made in the USA!

versatile bulb holder for holiday lights, big or small
bought a huge box of these, probably last the rest of my life so for $16 it was well worth it. They designed to hold any kind of out door light string you can imagine. For my application, I simply slid the long straight part over the top rim of the gutters then set my solar light string inside the little hook, so I snapped the large bulb holder parts off and tossed them. ( If you are using large bulbs, you snap them off, insert the pronged end into the little ring and pop your bulb in there. I tried it and they fit fine) They held up well and I plan to use them again next year... and the next... and the next...LOL

The only problem is the portion that you are supposed to clip the lights into is extremely easy to break off
These do the trick. They clamp firmly onto my gutters. The only problem is the portion that you are supposed to clip the lights into is extremely easy to break off. The clip is attached to the gutter hook portion by a thin piece of weak plastic. Push too hard or at an angle and the top snaps off. I still gave it 4 stars because it seems to clamp well and I was able to put the lights inside of the gutter hook portion. That did the job but i would not recommend these hooks if you are using heavy or large lights with the intent of clipping them in. You likely will break several hooks and I'm not sure they would hold up well in weather.
