It's okay... There are better toys out there though...
Was really excited about buying this for my 10 month old. He actually prefers to play with the balls themselves rather than put them in the elephant. I'm deducting stars for two reasons... (1) The fan is really loud. It probably has to have enough strength to move the balls, but the sound of the fan competes with the music. So, as a result, the music is really loud too. It's just a super loud toy. My son had to get used to it at first. (2) The elephant's nose can be pointed in different directions for the balls to go different places. However, you're kind of guessing where to position the nose because there are no markings or definitive stops as you turn it. Hindsight 20/20, I would have gotten another toy that was similar. There are a ton on AlumiGogo and some of them are cheaper.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!
This elephant shoots the ball out his trunk, when you drop it in his left ear with a strong gush of wind, which is started by pushing the red button.. You can turn the trunk to return the ball in his left ear and pop back up, to shoot in his right ear and land in the collection area below, or to do either or randomly. However, ometimes it just sits on on the top and you or baby has to recirculation it. This isn't a bother, because most likely your baby has put his or her hand on the top and blocked it, or picks it up to lick it....The music is circus type, 2 songs I believe or the sound of the wind mechanism. THIS IS A LOUD TOY! It is lots of fun, and my grandson likes you to hold the trunk toward his face so the air streams on him. It's summer so if you have air conditioning it's refreshing. As the adult you want to keep the balls circulating , as it's entertaining, if baby will let you! It takes December cell batteries ( I think ).

This toy is so loud it sounds like a vacuum is running non stop. I don't recommend it as it annoyed both of my kids.

Decent toy with a good concept
It seems like a perfect toy for a kid that like to pick things ups and put them in other things, and really the idea is sound and when it works it is great. What I have found to be the case is that the blower for shooting the balls out is a bit too weak and sometimes the balls kind of just hover in the end of the trunk instead of shooting out for retrieval. This is even on fresh batteries. That and the fact that it takes 4 C batteries is a bit much for a weak blower. You can also position the trunk so that it aims the balls in whichever direction you want. Even in such a way that it shoots them back into an ear to be shot again, creating an endless (for 15 seconds) loop.
It does play some sounds which is fun and nice and it also runs in increments of about 10-15 seconds. So kid pushes button and blower turns on with music playing for about 15 seconds then it powers off until kid pushes the button again. This helps preserve batteries as a young kid is not going to turn off their toy. Another negative is that it is a bit loud. As a parent I always appreciate a volume selection on toys for my daughter. It is not terrible but enough to be noticed.
+ Auto power off
+ Cool little songs
+ Great when working right
- Battery Hog
- Weak Blower'
- No volume adjustment.

Bit hit with kids, slightly less "pop" than expected
This product has held up through a number of children. Its fun and easy to use. The kids love the colors and sounds. My kids love to aim the nose at each other to feel the fan (which propels the balls) on their face. The ball are a good size for little hands. Our one complaint is that it doesn't pop the balls out very well. Every other ball actually pops from the nose (not far, just rolling down the front of the toy), with the others just hovering over the spout, spinning around until the child knocks it away. Even though it doesn't "shoot" out as expected, my kids have continued to love this toy.

Not much pop
I was really hoping that this would pop the balls higher. They barley clear the elephants trunk and sometimes they just hover mid air above the trunk. It was a little disappointing but I find many children's toys are that way. The volume of the music isn't adjustable and I find it somewhat loud. The noise of the fan is also noisy. It comes with 5 balls that are interchangeable with many of our other toys that use plastic balls. The trunk is adjustable to the right for continuous popping, which rarely works or left and the balls will fall in its belly.
Something really fun though is that my son uses it to dry his hair. He puts his face over the trunk when there's no balls and his hair is wet and it latterly blow dries it not completely dry but enough to make him giggle about it for awhile. This isn't a bad toy and I believe it's safe so no worries about the balls hitting them in the face. It's actually just a light stream of air. But we give it three stars for the noise.

Very loud, does not keep balls on continuous loop like it claims they just fall out anyways. My 5 year old get more enjoyment from it then my baby I bought it for.

Looks cute, but that's it
I have to be honest. I was not impressed with this toy. It looked cute and I was excited to give it a try. It was a disappoint.
The balls don't pop very high than on top of that batteries last awhile but die just enough very quickly that the balls pop even less. Half the time they miss the chute and go all over the place or down below and just sit there.
We had the previous model and my kids loved it. It was played with on a daily basis. This one was used a bit but my children quickly lost interest and it has sat collecting dust for ages.

I hpur hased this as a birthday gift for my two-year-old granddaughter who liked it a lot. But her parents jokingly suggested next time I should try it out first (online? how?) because in their opinion it is so-o loud!
