So many amazing flavors
Where have these been all my life!?
Vegan (dairy free as long as you buy the ones without chocolate)
Made from dates so if you're not a fan don't buy but EXCELLENT PRODUCT!
High calories- but great healthy snack
Minimal protein- but still great snack
Decent sugar- but natural sugars (non added)
Need to try more flavors!

This is the only larabar that is both soy and dairy free that is even tolerable to me. I'm nursing and I'm avoiding soy and milk due to a potential intolerance with my baby so these bars keep me going and that's the only reason I shove them down, I don't have a ton of other quick options and these keep me full but overall they taste just awful.

Two weeks ago I bit into a mint chocolate chip bar and almost broke my tooth on what I thought was a pebble. I pulled it out of my mouth and could not split or crush this thing, it was rock hard! I figured maybe it was a super calcified nut and just a fluke, and since I loved these bars, I let it slide. But then today I just bit into a peanut butter cookie bar and same thing on the first bite! I read other unfavorable reviews and saw lots about moldy bars, which sounds like a possible supplier issue, rather than manufacturer. My issue sounds like it’s poor quality at the source, very disappointing as I loved these! Needless to say, subscription cancelled.

Great to keep on hand, for that quick burst of natural energy, that truly lasts.
My favorite all natural energy bar around. i think i've tried them all, and i am so glad to find a brand that doesn't put chocolate in their product. They aren't too sweet - everything is natural - so these don't mess up my sugar levels. There's a slight crunch to them from minced seeds or nuts. My go-to Larabar flavors are Peanut Butter Cookie and Lemon. Other flavors are available, too.

This is what a really healthy snack bar is ....
I think that this series of Larabar is what a real healthy snack should contain. If you look at the ingredients on all of this series of Larabars, then you'll see that it has only 3-4 ingredients like the fruit itself, dates and some form of nuts. It doesn't have sugar, salt or other preservatives. Because of the dates, it has natural sweetness and because of the nuts, it has natural saltiness. The nuts also give this bar it's calories (an average bar is about 200 calories). The taste is well ... not like eating a Nature Valley snack bar. The taste is more like eating mashed fruit and nuts mixed together with dates. If you don't like dates or have a thing against dates, I wouldn't buy any of this series of Larabars because 90% of them have dates as a main ingredients. I think they use it as a natural binder. Because of this, I find that a majority of their bars taste kind of the same ... heavily flavored with dates.
But, if you're trying to snack healthily and want to avoid processed foods and those sugary / salty snacks in the "snack bar" aisle at the supermarket, this is the bar to go with. Plus, if you buy it in bulk from AlumiGogo, it comes out to be less than $1.25 / bar whereas at the markets it can go as high as $2.00+ / bar. You just need to go the market and try all the flavors first before you commit to 16 bars of the same flavor at AlumiGogo. It would suck to order 16 bars of a flavor and find out that you can stand the taste of it after the fact.

Two ingredients - true magic
The folks at Larabar mix dates and peanuts (and a bit of magic, I think) and wind up with a bar that tastes for sure like actual peanut butter cookies! No flour, no eggs, no sugar - just dates and nuts.
I tried one of these when it was on sale at my local Kroger store and I immediately knew that I had to buy a full box of them! Honestly these are not as rich as the no flour ones I used to make with peanut butter, sugar and eggs and vanilla. BUT they are doggoned good and a lot healthier!
My husband used to be a peanut butter cookie freak but hasn't had one for several years....At least not at home. LOL Now, with subscribe and save, we have them by the box and we can both enjoy them either as snacks or for dessert. The only thing I really wish is that the peanuts were organic.

Stale not fresh. These have been sitting somewhere for a while.
This is my favorite flavor, and the price here is great, but what a disappointment !!!
These Larabars are anything but fresh.
I think I will stay with purchasing from Trader Joe's.
These were border line hardened and the typically vibrant taste of peanut butter has become like the hardened crumbs scrapped from the bottom of a two week old jar.
Sad day for me.

Love these! Larabars are the first snack bars I've ever come across that have truly all-natural ingredients without any added sugars, preservatives, or other unnecessary additives like flavorings or colors. Peanut butter cookie in particular has a deliciously sweet taste that goes well with peanut butter.

love love love these.
looking on the internet i found recipes for making your own. though not exactly the same, i really enjoy the homemade ones too. throw 1 cup peanuts, 1 cup dates, 2 tablespoons peanut butter, and 1-2 tablespoons water (as needed) into the food processor. pulse until the nuts are chopped up and sticky from the dates. roll out inbetween wax paper, refridgerate, and cut into bars when they have stiffened. keep in the fridge. yum. even better, make with cashews instead of peanuts!
