Doesn't make the grade
 Very disappointing. I bought three of these for my wife and daughters, but my first daughter expressed concerns about it. She said the lid was difficult to keep closed, and she couldn't tell which way it was pointed without looking down at it. She was living in the northeast at the time and said that with mittens or gloves on there as no way she could feel the 'nub' that is supposed to make it easy to aim. She said she was concerned that she'd spray herself, or waste time looking down to make sure she was pointed at the 'bad guy.' Then she tried a practice spray and said it did not spray very far, at all. No way it reached 5 feet.

My wife then decided to try hers out and we videoed it. It definitely did not reach a target that we placed 5 feet away–the spray was easily dispersed on what was only a slight breeze, and only managed a few very brief sprays before it sputtered out. It's compact, so I didn't really expect it to have an unlimited amount of spray, but I did expect it to hit a target that is a step away from doing something bad to my wife or daughters. The only hope of affecting a bad guy would be if he was already on top of them or if he happened to run into the spray. I'm sorry...but to this Dad/Husband... that's not good.

I want them to have protection and I am not confident this provide it. I will have to find them something else.

Compact and ships to NY.
Recently made a trip abroad where there has been random attacks on civilians so we decided to pick up some mace just as an added defense while walking the streets. These tiny canisters are easy to attach to your keys, or even just have them in your pocket without creating any bulk etc. I flew with it international, but kept it in my suitcase, and had no issues. I also had it shipped to NY, which was surprising, because amazon typically won't ship tasers, or mace to NY.

My only gripe with this product is in an actual emergency, I feel like I'd struggle to open the cap, and figure out which way to spray it. It is more likely I'll spray it into my own face, than actually get the attacker. But hey, it's small, easy to carry, and gives you a little sense of control, even if minimal. Guess it doesn't hurt to have it either way.

Great size for key chain...
Have not actually tried to use it of course, but the rating is because it fits so well on my key chain and is practically unnoticeable.

I really like the small and compact size of this pepper spray
I really like the small and compact size of this pepper spray. It is much smaller than many other pepper spray devices available. I have not used it or tested it (don't want to waste it), but I like the security of having it on my keychain. Also I really like the metal alignment tab so you can feel what is the correct direction to point the device, even if you are in the dark and can't see it clearly.

So far so good
I keep it on my keys which get thrown into bags often and so far no leaks! I love how tiny it is and that I can carry just this connected to my car key in my small pockets! Got one for my cousin too as I think it's a great thing to have!

Delivering on Expectations
Fits perfectly on the keychain, I hardly notice it compared to the other keys. But should I ever need it, I feel confident that I could brandish it while keeping my eyes forward and not looking down. One critique I have would be the cap. It has a tight hold, and to the touch, it feels secure. But, I have had a few instances where I found it open and the dispenser exposed. Which brings me to suggest a different type of cap maybe a clasp type, perhaps a push and slide. Overall, exactly what I was expecting and it delivers 5/5 stars in every category.

hard to aim
so small, that in an emergency you are as likely to spray yourself as your opponent. But, that makes it really easy to carry, so there is that.

Doesnt Look like Pepper Spray!
I recommend this for the simple reason that its small enough for your keychain and doesn't look like a pepper spray like every other brand. That means that you can reasonably carry this in situations where it might not be strictly legal or you're going through security (if traveling, put it in your checked bags.)

Now without getting into specifics, pepper spray is great if you get into some trouble and don't want to use force. You can take Krava Maga or carry a knife, but do you really want to stab some drunk or break their trachea? No. Trust me you don't want to deal with the head aches that follow. What you want to do is get out of there and not spent the night being interviewed by the police, being deported with an international police record or stabbing someone in front of your kids.

Great size, but there is room for improvement
I like that the product has a small footprint that blends in well with the other contents of my key chain.

I think the following could be improved:
(1) The combined spray button/nozzle rotates. I think it should stay in a fixed position, so a panicked user is less likely to spray themselves by accident.
(2) The safety cap has opened by itself on several occasions (this makes me uncomfortable because it can lead to an undesired discharge).

Finally - a small product my daughter will put on her key change- would be nice it they would take off the big MACE label on the side so it wasn't so conspicuous. My daughter just put electrical tape on the label to cover it up,
