Excellent - Made in USA
Great product! Very handy for a variety of uses, and dishwasher safe, too! I've been scouring retail stores for years for the mitt version of this material, at first to find more like the ones I'd liked and been using so much, and later because after many years of use I'd become increasingly concerned I wouldn't be able to ever find replacements if that became necessary. I'd searched AlumiGogo several times over the years without success too, but finally scrolled Google images of pot holders, saw the Kitchen Grips, and located on AlumiGogo not only the mitt pot holders I'd been searching for, but also these excellent short grips, too. Great for Le Creuset Dutch oven handles and lids, and also most other short handles and lids on cookware and ovenware, also great for removing hot plates, bowls and measuring cups from the microwave. I feel a sense of being able to get a surer grip on things with holders made of this type material than I have with conventional, quilted fabrics, or silicone holders. It would be nice, however, if there were a slightly larger size version of these short grips, as well, that would more easily accommodate people with extraordinarily large hands like my husband--he can use these, too, but would be more comfortable using a slightly larger version, I'm sure. I'd bought 2 pairs (4) of these short grips to start with and 2 of the Kitchen Grips full mitts, but I'll certainly be stocking up on these now that I've finally found them again! They are an excellent value, besides being excellent products.

Easy to use, very helpful
I love my pots and pans, but some of them have metal handles on the sides and lids. You do have to wonder why they didn't think that through when they were making it, but instead of getting all new pots and pans (which was a consideration), I got these handy little things and they are great! They withstand a lot of heat and are very grippy (if "grippy" is a word) so I can now remove the lid for stirring without having to put on an oven mitt and I can transfer the pot to the sink to be strained with much greater ease than before. Life is good.

I just bought this awesome pan/pot at Marshall's and it has metal handles that get really hot so I ordered these hoping they would work. Well they did and it makes using this pot much easier. Since it is now my favorite pot I really needed these. They would work with a lot of different pots and they wash up nicely if you spill on them. All in all they are a very good product.

These are wonderful and an absolute must if you use Lodge Cast iron. I also use these for my enameled cast iron French/Dutch oven. (fits the handles perfectly). I use them to move pans in and out of the oven and always place them on the handles after removing from the oven as a reminder that the pan (and handles) are hot.

These little pot holders are very convenient and work great for any pot with small half-moon handles, like Le Creuset dutch ovens or pans. They don't get hot, and allow for a sure grip even on a large and heavy dutch oven. Much more efficient than bulky terry cloth or quilted materials.

I didn't like having to pull out the oven mitts every time ...
I recently switched from an electric to a gas stove and suddenly discovered that my dutch oven pot handles are getting hotter than they ever did with electric. I didn't like having to pull out the oven mitts every time I need to drain a pot of pasta so I purchased these handle holders instead. They work perfectly! Great grip on the pot, even when pouring/draining water. Plus, once I'm done cooking but still serving out of the hot pot I can leave these holders on the pot handles which keeps me from accidentally grabbing the pot and burning my hands. Very happy with this purchase.

Is this a joke?
This is a perfect example of a good idea poorly executed. The pads are too small in the part that goes on the handle and especially the part that is on your fingers. The part your fingers go into should be large enough to stay on your fingers so you can operate it like a puppet and with one hand grab a handle or reach into the oven for a baking sheet, but they don't stay on at all so you basically have to use two hands to get one gripper onto a handle. Once on the gripper is not quite large enough to stay on most of the handles I need it to such as my cast iron wok and cast iron pan and pot. These are close to being a great little item, much better than a full hot pad, the design flaw make them almost useless; not quite, it's just frustrating to have a product like this, I mean didn't anyone test out this final design before producing and selling?

Great little invention!
I just ordered my 2nd set for our camper. These are fantastic for lifting the pots out of pressure cookers and air fryers. I love these.

Too small! Should've listened to the other reviewers. My hands are rather petite, and I could barely get a grip to use them.

I love my stainless steel pots
I love my stainless steel pots. I love my cast iron pans. What I don't love about either is burning my hands every time I use them as they don't have protective coverings on their handles or lids. In steps these little doohickies!
It is very easy to pull one of the holders out of the drawer, and slip it over the rounded handles of my pots. They grip tight and keep my fingers from being burnt. The downside? You cannot leave these holders on the handles, as they tend to smoke and smell awful! Of course, you wouldn't slip a cloth or cotton pot holder on to a handle and leave it either, so there's that.
