Good heavy and smooth operation. Quality product.
I put these locks on all my storage bay doors on my motorhome to replace the clunky, easy to break into, factory key locks. Initially, I purchased and installed 2 as a test. They fit perfectly and the operation is smooth. They are solid and heavy. I decided to go ahead and get the rest of the locks replaced and when I did, I noticed that they also sell rubber dust protectors (reviewed separately) so I got protectors and locks all around. I really like these locks, and the reasons that I withhold a star follow:
- price. They are expensive if you intend to install on the entire RV (I needed a dozen of these, so well over a Benjamin). I don't want cheap locks since that is what I am replacing, but still, a bit pricey.
- A little tricky to install if you insist on a perfect horizontal combo lined up.
- Numbers hard (for me) to read. They could have made the numbers stand out better with paint or something. I have to get glasses to have any hope of reading the dials.
- Only 3 dials. There are only 999 possible combinations, which should keep the thieves out but if they had a couple of hours they could get the combo figured out.
Overall, I recommend unless you need real security. But that would be hard to achieve anyway on an RV with locks I suppose as the bay doors could be kicked in by a really motivated thief.

may upgrade rating if it lasts
wanted to replace a stack on keyed cabinet cam. install was fine after i machined a nut to raise it up due to the recessed lock port on the cabinet was digging into the dial.
The two stars come from resetting the code as instructed and when i tested it with it locked (i dont recommend for first test trial btw) was locked out of it for a while. thought at first i set it different than what i thought because the numbers are tiny. Was about to drill it out and toss but decided to try it one last time and then it worked with the same code i set it for. it continued to work a few times afterward so we'll see.....

Good quality, didn't work for my application
I wanted to replace the lock on the outside shower door on my travel trailer but due to the large diameter of the knob, it won't fit in the recessed channel on the door. I compared this one to the larger 1-1/8" ones I bought and found it to be of the same quality and workmanship as those. To save you from trying to find my review of them, I've copied and pasted it here. I gave those a 4 star rating so I feel this smaller one should have the same rating for the same reasons.
Review of the Combi-Cam 7850R-L Chrome Large 1-1/8" Combi-Cam Combinated Cam Lock:
"I wanted to replace the common keyed locks on the baggage doors on my travel trailer with something a little more secure. These are just the ticket. No need to remember to grab the keys to open them. These are very easy to install and adjust. You can set them so the combination is vertical when locked or horizontal, depending on your preference. You can also change the rotation that they lock/unlock as well. The only down side is that the knob is tapered and if the door seal sticks at all, your fingers will slip off and you can open the door as easily. The finger tabs that were under the original locks won't fit under these as the diameter of the knob is too large to allow it. I am handy enough that I'll be able to fabricate some larger ones once I get some suitable material to make them. Someone else said the glare from the stainless finish makes it hard to see the numbers. We haven't encountered that issue yet, but we've only had them installed a month. If the glare on the knob becomes too much, perhaps a light touch with some 280 grit sandpaper will help."

This was a replacement for my existing keyed safe, the only problem is the numbers are too tiny and since there is a chrome finish, the reflection makes it hard to see the numbers, I have to use a flashlight and my glasses to open the safe. I also had to make a few more adjustments since this was not the original part for my safe.

my installation was not so simple.
I installed these in a Thor freedom elite. I was disappointed with the overall swap. My doors have a thin strip of edging along the doors and the inside panels are a flexible plastic. The outside part of the lock sits on top of the edging. I don't like the locks turning when you lock and unlock them, but I found that the The inside door panel flexes if you try to tighten the locks down. I am not sure if this causes a problem where you cannot turn the numbers when installed to a medium tightness. Additionally, the cams are too long and hit up against the edge of the inside lip when you try to lock the doors , causing additional difficulty in turning the tumblers. I could not move them off of the 000 default setting. After a lot of turning and adjusting, I found that Loosening the lock nut and bending the cam solved the problem but the locks are not as secure as the original key locks. Perhaps cutting the cams a little shorter will work better but I needed more time than I had today.

travel trailer upgrade
Bought 3 for my Keystone Outback travel trailer to replace the keyed locks on the cabinets. Hardest part was ordering the right size--took a while to figure out that the size (e.g., 1 1/8") is the length, not the diameter of the lock. My cabinet door was pretty thick and this one just barely made it. Install was super easy although I did use the latch part from the old locks to make it latch better. Numbers on the combo dial are pretty small but easy enough to operate so one less key for the trailer to worry about losing. Unlike the picture, it is a 3 number combo, not a 4 but easy to set to whatever combo you want. Definitely handy to be able to lock or unlock without having my keys on me and a tiny peace of mind knowing that everybody else that has a trailer doesn't have the same key to my cabinets.

I found a large key safe at a garage sale. The thing was built like a tank! It must have been made in the late 60's or early 70's. The only issue was that the cam lock was missing. I estimated the length and depth needed for the cam. I wanted a combo lock, so I took a shot on this cam lock. It had everything needed to install it, including a cam that fit perfectly. There is a YouTube video that clearly explains how to set the combination. The key safe is now complete and secured in the house.

I purchased a locking metal box for my Jeep that came with a key lock. The purpose of the locking box was to lock up my wallet, phone and keys when I left the Jeep (when bike riding for example). Having to carry 1 key to unlock the box was inconvenient, so I opted to replace it with this combination lock.
This lock works exactly as advertised and suits my purposes perfectly. Now I can lock everything up and just use the combination to access my strong box.
So far (a couple of months), the lock is holding up well. I'll hit it with WD-40 every once in a while to keep it lubricated, but I don't anticipate any troubles.

Work as expected. Fairly straight forward to install. I had to add a washer so the part that turns wouldn't rub on the door trim since it is larger than the stock lock.
I put 3 of them on my travel trailer - way more convenient than the cheap key it came with. The key it came with works in other people's trailers and their keys work in mind - so keep than in mind when at a campground or a rest stop. The numbers can be a little hard to read but it is worth it.

I really like the idea but for me the install was not smooth. The bottom edge of the lock overlaps the trim of the door making it hard to turn to lock and unlock. I can fashion some sort of shim to make it level but then I'm afraid the shaft will be too short to get the nut on the inside. I may have to eliminate the large washer on the inside but I'm going to try grinding the prongs off first.
