Six Puzzle Gift Set
I purchased the Six Puzzle wooden Gift Set. Visually, the box and puzzles are great to look at. Very nicely packaged and easy to store or transport. Me or the kids have handled each of the puzzles a limited amount of times. Most of the pieces are solid, but one of the pieces did break off right out of the box, on the first try. It was not due to any amount of force or heavy play. It was a first try to take the puzzle apart, and the simple act of handling the puzzle caused the piece to break off (no extra pressure than was used on any of the other pieces). The other puzzles and pieces have held up well for the limited amount of times used. My biggest issue with the set is the size. The puzzles are miniatures. Each piece fits in the palm of my hand (female, so I don't have oversized hands to begin with). I think the size does take away from the quality as a lot of the pieces are notched, which can make them prone to breakage as they thin out in certain areas. I Wish they were bigger in size, but otherwise they are a nice inexpensive way to keep yourself or older kids (not suitable for small children) entertained for a while. I would not purchase these again, but would definitely look for larger sized pieces, because they are a lot of fun (the frustrating kind of fun, like golfing).

Excellent puzzles, but only four stars as the The Diamond Cube
puzzle developed a non-fatal break during my first play with it (one of then ends of the sliding blocks broke with the wood grain). I don't think this is due to poor craftsmanship, but a danger in making small-ish puzzles like these out of wood. The piece will be easily repaired with wood glue, but you have been made aware.
Each puzzle in the set measures (just slightly under) 2 inches cubed (2"x 2"x '2") or 5cm cubed (5cm x 5cm x 5cm). Puzzle DOES box comes with cheat sheet to help you solve each puzzle. However, cheat sheet is rather poor quality, so younger/novice puzzlers may struggle to solve the puzzles even with the cheat sheet.
The puzzles are made of wood (some bamboo). The box is mostly made of wood, except for the top and bottom which are dressed up press-board.
Puzzles are pretty well built. Fit and finish is acceptable for an inexpensive product such as this.
My puzzle set came with the following (I've included links to AlumiGogo products similar to the ones in this set, but note they may be different that what Monkey Pod Games is selling here):
1. The Diamond Cube
: Disassemble and reassemble the pieces of the cube. Puzzle stays together once assembled for easy handling. NOTE my diamond cube broke rather easily, but my break is easily repairable. Careful with the fragile ends, as the wood grain can be easy to break along.
2. Snake Cube
: This one is my personal favorite (I actually came across this puzzle set while shopping for a new snake cube. Unravel the cube easily enough, but can you put it back together without looking at the cheat sheet (or YouTube)? This puzzle can be very challenging, but very manageable with the instructions provided. Wooden cubes are held together by a string running throughout. The string is about shoe-string thickness and strength. The string in a snake cube WILL BREAK (either from the sting itself breaking, or the string being pulled loose from its anchors). I've had good luck with this snake cube: no issues after many, many attempts by adults and children alike.
3. Totes Shooting Star Wooden Puzzle
: Disassemble and reassemble the six-piece star. Can be more tricky than it looks. Also one of my favorites.
4. Burr Puzzle
: Can you find the secret to disassemble and reassemble this puzzle without help? Also a tricky puzzle. I was able to reassemble by carefully watching how it came apart (not sure if that counts as cheating or not). I would consider this a 4 out of 5 difficulty (more difficult than the Star Cube, but less difficult than the snake cube). Instructions for this puzzle were also pretty clear.
5. The Falling Star
: This was the hardest puzzle in the box for me. To make matters more difficult, the instructions were of little help. I was able to get this one back together. I'd say this one is 5 out of 5 for difficulty.
6. Soma Cube 3d - Large
: This puzzle came in my box rather than the Ball in Jail
puzzle. This puzzle is pretty lack-luster, and I would rather have had the Ball in Jail puzzle. Puzzle is pretty easy--say 2 out of 5 for difficulty. If you randomly stick the pieces together, you will eventually come up with the solution--that goes for stacking the Soma Cube into an array, or compacting it down into it's cube form.
Conclusion: nice puzzle set. Decent craftsmanship. For $20-ish, not a bad deal. Beware of quality issues, and possibility of not getting the exact puzzles listed in the pictures.

The dye bled onto the other lighter pieces so the look was off. These are also pretty hard and don't come with a cheat sheet so we have disassembled a few, and they haven't been put pack together.

STAY AWAY. STAY FAR AWAY.
DO NOT BUY!
It's way smaller than pictured, very cheap quality and it does not come with the boxes pictured. This is a rip off, trust me.

This is a fun but challenging puzzle set
This is a fun but challenging puzzle set. I would say that three of them seem to be easier than the other three. The three on the side with the 3x3x3 cube do seem easier. The only flaw with mine was in the box construction. As you see in the picture, when you take the cover off, you should be able to put the box that holds all six puzzles back inside the cover and two wooden planks should hold up the puzzles so its level, however on mine they weren't cut properly so it rests uneven.

You get your money's worth.
These puzzles are good quality, eg the wood, and they are tough! In fact, I wish the cheat sheet was better- it's very small and difficult to read, and the instruction are sparse and not a big help. We might not be able to figure some of these out, but that's great if you like a challenge!

I bought these for my elderly dad. He loves puzzles and working with wood. The problem is: there aren't any directions?!? He picked a puzzle up out of the box and it fell apart before he could see it put together. So, now he's frustrated that he can't put it back together. Visual directions should have been included for reference.

Two of the puzzles broke within minutes of opening the box and playing with the puzzles. They are also much smaller than they appear in the pictures.
