Great Work Shoe on cement floors
I work as a cashier and a warehouse type environment where the flooring is cement and I am constantly on my feet all day. I was wearing regular running shoes, but after awhile my feet began to hurt after a few hours. I wanted a athletic-type shoe that looked good but also was comfortable and sturdy. After wearing these Skechers Energy Afterburn shoes, about 30 minutes I could tell a major difference on how my feet felt on the cement floors. After work my feet did not hurt as much as wearing regular running-type shoes. I also noticed these shoes gave my feet an extra bounce, almost like the same effect you get from Reebok Zigtech shoes. I tried wearing my Reebok Zigtech at work. They are great running shoes, but not good work/walking shoes. With these shoes you get comfort plus the propulsion like the Reebok Zigtech shoe.

Skechers are the most AWESOME shoes in the world
Skechers are the most AWESOME shoes in the world. I love these, size is perfect. White is bright. Shoes add a little height, which my 5,7 frame loves. Buy these shoes, you will love them.

Very comfortable. I think the quality is good. Isn't it funny how they always want you to rate stuff before you have had a chance to really use it.
I really will no know how good these shoes are until I have had the chance to wear them in, From what I can tell, much better quality than the last few shoes I have ordered.

I bought these for my husband and he loves the comfort. The only thing I've found about several of Sketchers' products is that the tread has grooves large enough to pick up small stones when you walk across a gravel driveway. The embedded stones can scratch expensive wood floors. We're constantly checking our shoes for embedded stones in the tread.

Nice psort shoe
I bought them for another, who has to wear a brace on his left foot, so I can't really make a good review..They look just like the picture, and fit his one unbraced foot perfectly...

A big guy with truly big feet, my husband goes through sports shoes. He wears a size 13--extra wide. Finding size 13 is hard enough, but in extra wide? Nigh impossible.
So, when I happened to just catch a TV ad for a new line of Skechers in wide widths, I just ordered them. My husband put them on, planning to break them in wearing them around the house, but they were so comfortable, he wore them to walk on the first day. He's thrilled. Comfortable, no pinching, no breaking in needed to stretch the width.
I am withholding the final star until we see how they hold up. The Skechers I have owned have been uneven in how long they last. I had one pair that lasted a couple of years with very little wear. Another didn't make it six months. So... we'll see.

Supportive and Stylish!
Note the other review on the other pair ( purchased and posted today).
Absolutely pleased with the quality and support as well as the value.
Purchased as a gift for my husband. He is diabetic with some peripheral neuropathy that makes the best shoe and fit an imperative as far as I am concerned?

Fit like the last 2 pairs, and that's a good thing.
This is my third pair of Sketchers Sport in 11 years, so they are sturdy. This pair fits just like the old pair, which was why I purchased another pair. The only difference, of course, is this new pair are a bit stiffer..for now.

A great pair of sneakers
I bought these for my grandson. He thought they looked sharp, which they do. He has wide feet and these were a perfect fit. He said the leather got softer as he wore them. He walks to school and his feet stay warm and dry. He loves them and they hold there support. Look as good today as the day he first put them on.

Superb quality, but not for my feet
I have been a huge fan of Sketchers for awhile now; their quality and craftsmanship are superb and their shoes are built to last! I am pretty tough on my shoes, and demand a lot from them. I need a shoe that offers sturdy support, as my back is pretty much a wuss, and will freak out about the littlest things, including lack of shoe support. Sketchers has always delivered everything I need in a shoe.
I was excited to try this design, because I am on my feet a lot at work (I work 12-hour shifts on concrete floors at a manufacturing plant). From what I've read online, these shoes were ideal for my needs, because they offered the support I need for both my back and my feet. I also like the fact that these shoes have a very aggressive tread, as I do a lot of outdoor activities including hiking and camping, and I expect my everyday shoe to hold up for the task (even though I have dedicated hiking boots, sometimes you want a lighter-weight option, especially when you're carrying 60-80 pounds on your back). When these shoes arrived, I was impressed with the amount of tread and grip they provided. It wasn't like the dinky little tread you see on most shoes, it looked like they took a tire, cut it to shape, and put it on the bottom of the shoe - Sketchers meant business when they designed this shoe!
The material is warm, but lets your feet breathe, so your feet stay nice and warm in the winter. I can't say how they are in the summer, as I didn't own them in the summer months. Inside, there is a lot of padding all around, especially in the tongue of the shoe, which is nice - it gives a real nice snug fit to keep the shoe in place without having to really strap down the lacing tight. There is a huge amount of padding in back on the bottom for your heels, which, for me, is where the problem comes in. For most people, this would be a very nice feature, but for some reason, it ended up hurting my heels pretty badly, almost to the point where I didn't want to walk from one end of the house to the other. After wearing them for just one 12-hour shift, my feet were screaming, and all I wanted to do was either sit back in a chair with my feet up or lay in bed, just so I wouldn't be on my feet. I understand that every pair of shoes needs to be broken in, and during that time the shoes can be a bit uncomfortable, but not this much.
While I absolutely like these shoes and have absolutely nothing against them (other than the heel issue mentioned above), I am forced to return them to AlumiGogo. Please remember that this is not the case for most people - my feet are extremely picky to begin with, and simply put, these shoes just aren't for me. I really like the quality and materials that Sketchers used to design this shoe, and I can honestly say that I believe they are a shoe that will hold up to use and abuse for quite a long time. Despite them not being the right shoe for my feet, I would still highly recommend them, but be aware that there is a large amount of padding in the heel area, and will lift the heel area of your foot upwards somewhat.
I don't hold anything against Sketchers or these shoes. In fact, once my return is processed, I plan on buying a new pair of my go-to shoes, which are the Sketchers Men's Stamina Nuovo sneakers.
All around, great shoe, just not for me (unfortunately).
