Well made. Heavy duty. Makes great popovers!
I bought this to use specifically for making popovers. My lovely wife had found an unused one at a neighbors yard sale and while it works great, we needed a second one for all of the times there is more than just the two of us (we're little piglets when it comes to fresh hot, crispy popovers! Haha) These are heavy steel construction and work great. I do have to say that I have only used them to make popovers, but I'm sure they would work for kingsize muffins as well.

For me, it's a popover pan
I wasn't thrilled with the reviews (or my own previous experience) of various popover pans, so I decided to try this muffin pan instead. It actually works perfectly as a popover pan. Nothing sticks to it at all, so cleanup is easy. Seems to be pretty durable, solid, not tinny or cheap-feeling. This pan suits my purposes just fine!

NOW THAT'S A MUFFIN!
Who needs liners!. Just spray with a pan spray prior to filling. Fill only 2/3 full. Because of the larger volume of batter per muffin, lower temperature 25 degrees and baking takes a little longer. After cooling, gently loosen with a butter knife and remove with knife and a fork. We've had no problem with sticking and clean-up is a snap.

Very solid pan with a good non stick coating
Well I have finally found my perfect pan for Popovers and Yorkshire puddings. This came yesterday and I could not wait to make Popovers this AM. I bought this primarily for making popovers and Yorkshire Puddings as I make them often but now want to make some King Size Muffins as well using the papers made for this pan. Nice even bake, beautifully browned, simple clean up. I was pleasantly surprised at the weight of this pan, it is a very solid well made piece and the non stick coating worked beautifully. Picture of the pan when popovers came out this AM shows a clean pan. This is the first Wilton Pan I have ever owned, now I would like more.

Nice and Sturdy
I love this pan. It's nice and sturdy and cleans up easily. I've read where people are complaining about not finding liner cups for this pan. Well, this is where parchment paper comes in handy. I just cut 9" squares of parchment paper, folded 4 times, unfolded and then placed the center of the folds over a cup in the pan. I then used a half pint small mouth canning jar in the center and squashed the paper down to the bottom. I creased the folds, and bingo! A parchment paper lining for a king-size cup. The only problem is that it's kind of hard to keep the paper down in the hole while pouring in batter. It is easy with stiff dough like muffin dough, a little trickier with cupcake batter. But, you get the hang of it after a couple of cups.
Personally I like the look of parchment liners over paper cups, so I'm a happy camper.

Just Got To Love This!
Im using these to make egg with vegetable quiche and its just great compared to the average size muffin pans I used to used, which were too small and a person wanted to eat 4 of them. These are huge and good enough to feed one person per muffin. I bought 5 of these.

The perfect size muffin pan for people who want a good ...
The perfect size muffin pan for people who want a good & satisfying portion size muffin VS. the pricey store bought, which is why I like making my own anyway. This muffin pan has a nice hefty weight and quite durable too. I ordered the Wilton - Jumbo size muffin pan about 3 yrs. ago and decided to come back for this one too. This pan does have a nice non-sick coating which is great for quick easy clean ups, and since I use the baking paper cups anyway, cooking & clean up is accomplished with record saving time. I've received comments & compliments about my giant size muffins, Thanks to AlumiGogo for carrying this rare hard to find item, I know who to turn to when I need that special item.

Better than I had expected
I have been purchasing all manner of containers to create individual portions for future meals & desserts. When I opened the box, I knew immediately this would work for several savory dishes as well sweet temptations.
Wilton has a good name in the baking world so I went with that claim. With care, there is no doubt in my mind this pan will last many years. Heavy duty, thick non stick coating.
For the few reviews that said the product is useless because of the conical shape, I find that the shape was not that pronounced at all. Use your imagination, these pans can be one of your best multi purpose pans around.

Fortunately, I didn't purchase these to make muffins in
I got this pan in the mail the other day, and as the other reviewers said, the size is HUGE! I typically use a muffin tin that was made in the 50s, so the size of this pan is almost three times the size! Fortunately, I didn't purchase these to make muffins in, and will instead be using this pan to make humongous popovers!
As another reviewer suggested, I have used this pan also to freeze stocks and soups. Each portion of the tin is a great size for one serving of soup, and I will definitely be doing this a lot more in the future.
It should also be noted, though, that finding the paper cups for this tin might be extremely difficult. I would recommend purchasing these also from amazon or from Wilton themselves, as finding some in fun colors or patterns is extremely unlikely in a grocery store.

Great Mini Cake Pan
This is a really big muffin pan. I wouldn’t even call it a muffin pan. It’s more like a mini cake pan, which is what I was looking for.
The pan is non stick, so the cakes came out easily after flipping pan over. I still used oil and flour to coat it before putting in the batter. And it was easy to clean.
The 6 wells took 1/2 of the cake batter recipe. So, a whole recipe or box mix would make 12 of these mini cakes.
I put frosting on the bottom side because I felt it looked better turned upside down. The sides slope like a drinking cup, so turning it the opposite way made the top circumference smaller than the bottom.
Nice pan. I would purchase again.
*Just a note: This is not the typical large muffin pan that uses large muffin liners. There are no liners for this pan because they are more like elegant mini cakes. If you want a large muffin, buy a different pan.
