Great for cupcakes but not large tiered cakes
This review is for the 6 tier tower. It worked well for my cupcake project but was a headache for the 4 tier wedding cake. I didn't feel the cake was stable. It was difficult to transport as the plates wobble when separated. This is also a nightmare for cutting. Then there's the issue of dissembling the cake to cut...another nightmare. We got it done but I would not use again for a four tier cake. If I was going to do another cake I'd look foe something else. Great for cupcakes but not large tiered cakes.

This tower is very sturdy. I only used the 8
This tower is very sturdy. I only used the 8, 10, and 12 inch plates with 6, 8, and 10 inch cakes and it worked well. The price was cheaper than buying it at 40% off at a local craft store. Plus, it shipped in just two days, right to my door!

Meh, they're ok.
They're okay. Good quality for the price. My problem is that the plate does not lock into the stand. And they aren't defective - I bought 17 of them and they're all the same.

Versatile, customizable for every party ocassion.
I am a hobby cake maker that wanted a stand that could accommodate all my creations without having to store multiple sized stands. This has served me well on multiple occasions from weddings to birthdays to holidays and family parties. I let my friends use it. Everything is adjustable and customizable. Very easy to store when put apart. Gratis for cupcakes and deserts. makes your food look fancier.

Looks nice, does the job, just a few very small design issues.
This is a very nice cake stand. It is easy to put together and I love that the trays lift out so I can put my cakes on them and store them in the fridge until party day. I wish the plastic was a little higher quality as the plastic does scratch really easily.
It does seem somewhat unsturdy before you get stuff on it, but once it has the weight on it, it is pretty sturdy.
I would have liked a design where you could use each separately if you wanted and you really can't with this design.

I bought this for a birthday party to display multiple cakes and it worked perfectly! Assembly is easy. Note that the circular trays are each a different size, so you can put various sizes of cakes on them if you'd like. I can think of many more uses for this-appetizers, small desserts, etc.

It is fine for what I needed
It is fine for what I needed, I wasn't planning on putting cakes on it. It would also be great for cupcakes, Easy to assemble. I was hoping for it to be a bit bigger for what I wanted it for. I was using it for some appetizers. But as far as cakes for it, it would work very well.

Pretty but confusing...
I just don't know LOL...I'm sure I am doing something wrong with this cake stand, but I don't have time to mess with it, so it will have to do the way it is. No matter what I try, it won't sit flush on the table...not a huge deal, but it bothers me. I have strings of fairy lights under and around the stand, so its barely noticeable. Instructions were just frustrating to say the least, as in pieces were supposed to be in individual bags corresponding to the different layers...nope...one bag...big headache!! I think the weight of 3 cakes would push the legs down enough to be flush, but I'm only using one layer cake and then cupcakes. It'll have to do.

Everything was great, the only complaint I have is that the plates that are not the base are not flat on the bottom, there is the stick-out where the post comes through and so if you put your cakes on each plate to transport they are not flat, but rather they woblble. I had mine on the cardboards and then put then on the plate, over the center post so I could add decorations around the post to conceal the cored center and because it was more stable and so all I needed to do on site was assemble the stand which does go together very easily and quickly. I had to balance the plates and then everything was great.
