Useless. You still need something to secure your shed to the anchor kit!
If your shed will be installed on loose or sandy soil, you will still have to go to the hardware store, buy additional cable, and figure out how to secure your shed. All Arrow products come with ambiguous, difficult to understand instructions and require drilling additional holes into the steel frames. Overall, I cannot recommend Arrow products for installation by someone who is not a construction professional or professional handyman. After looking at the base kit, floor kit, and shed kit and instructions and giving it my best attempt, I then had two professional handymen walk away from this project -- too difficult. And the pair who finally completed it needed two full days to do so, with much difficulty and three drill batteries spent in the process. All this after having to purchase two of everything, because it was impossible to tell which parts were missing/damaged from the boxes, which were damaged when they arrived. The instructions are TERRIBLE -- think Ikea instructions, but composed for use in Purgatory. Be prepared to improvise, purchase additional hardware, and come armed with a high powered drill! Absolute nightmare. Would never purchase an Arrow product again.

Corkscrew Snapped Upon Installation
After following the directions, a corkscrew snapped when attempting to install the anchor. I contacted Arrow customer support and they were unhelpful with a replacement.

These are very easy to install and work great to keep my shed down. Installed in the fall and has held up to 70MPH winds so far. I have soil that has a high sand content so the anchors went into the ground rather easy. I installed after my shed was completely up. You then have to detach some siding to twist the anchors into the ground using a breaker bar. If you square up the base before you build the shed I would recommend installing the anchors then. Great product for the price.

Surprisingly good and effective!
When this arrived, I thought I had made a big mistake. I didn't think this would work at all, but I attached them to the floor frame of my new shed, and they work GREAT! Easy to install...just remember to moisten the soil before installation. I used a long screwdriver to put through the loop and it provided great leverage to turn the screw post.

RETURNED due to small size.
County building inspector laughed at the little, 1 foot long, dog leash spikes. He said they would NEVER hold my 8x10 shed in any substantial wind, and insurance wouldn't pay if the shed hit the house. Ordered (recommended) 30" anchors instead.

arrow shed anchor kit.
Kind of hard to install, especially in southern Californis where the ground is hard. But It does what it is suppose to do. and holds down the shed in High winds, just after installing we had very high winds and worked like a charm.

Must have anchors!
Hold down the shed perfect. Bought the shed at a local big box store, but the had no anchors for it?! As always...AlumiGogo did!

Have to have this for a shed
If you have an Arrow Shed, or any other mfr for that matter, this is a must buy item.

A straight top on stakes
Pretty simple kit to install but it would be nice if the top of the spiral stakes were straight and tapered a little so you could drive them like a drill bit. You'll wear yourself out trying to screw them into the ground.

Keeps the shed securely. Must buy with the shed.
Anchors the shed securely from the inside. No need to strap the shed down during a storm. The shed remained anchored during Irma, and I live on the East Coast, neat Miami.
