5 Stars By B a r r y on 2017-11-09 Excellent Inexpensive Solution for Removing Camper Jiggle Perfect for my 4000 pound 20' travel trailer!
My 2014 model trailer came with two cheesy screw-down jacks at the rear. They weren't very stable, and both bent in a short amount of time. I've been using these for two years, for 35-40 nights a year, mostly one and two night stops at race tracks, and they're great. They've seen flooding rains, heat, dust, aven a little snow, and are holding up well. I looked into replacing the cheapie stock jacks with good quality scissor jacks, but they're about $100/pr, plus the effort to install. The scissor jacks don't save that much time at each stop, are heavier, and are subject to transit damage hanging from the frame.
To these, I've created a kit with (4) 6" sections of 6x6 lumber, (4) 6" sections of 2x6 lumber, and (4) $1.99 hockey pucks, and a foam garden kneeler from the dollar store. I use the most blocking that will fit under each jack, and give it a few turns to snug up. Twice a year or so, I give the threads and top cap pin a spray of Boesheild or CRC 3-36, just as you would with crank down mechanisms, and they stay nice and smooth.
A case that nicely holds four nested jacks with the screws removed and four pucks: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0051F8RPE/ref=twister_B00T96T7UU?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
For a larger unit, the scissors might work better, or you might need 6-8 of these, but all good at a great price for my purposes.
These are NOT automotive jacks, they aren't for lifting, and I'd never crawl under a vehicle lifted off it's wheels. They are designed to remove the bounce from an r/v sitting on it's wheels and tongue jack. Please use a proper jack and jack stands for that purpose
4 Stars By TM Conway on 2015-05-19 Lightweight & easy to use I needed this to steady my little travel trailer & I was surprised by the size and weight of them, considering they are made to hold 6000 pounds. They were fairly easy to use and I didn't even really need the instructions. The one thing that was annoying was the length of the crank/tighteners. When I was placing the stands near parts that hung down from the trailer, I had to work a lot slower to keep from bangng into those parts. That is kind of a minor thing though. These were pretty light weight but seem to be doing a good job holding my small trailer. It's nice not to have the slight rocking motion when I am moving around inside the cabin. All in all, this was a great buy.

They are super light and store really easy. Just keep in mind that they are for leveling and support. They are not to jack your trailer of the ground. Park the trailer in a good spot, use the tongue jack to make it as level as possible from front to back and then use these to fine tune the overall level. If there is too much side to side tilt, use spacer under the tires or dig a hole. Then set these jacks up. It's simple and they work great. Great price as well.
5 Stars By NidNod on 2017-08-06 Must-have item for your RV Now that I have these in hand, I'm even more pleased with them. I wrongly assumed the substantial (3/4" diameter) threaded rod screwed into the base, but the base is flush; the rod simply slips down into it, and the threaded nut sits inside the molded hexagonal seat on top of the base. This allows you to spin the support up into position without holding the nut. This design also means you need only lower the support just enough to tilt it away (maybe 2"), then you can simply lift out the entire threaded rod with the nut remaining in its position on the threads. Then you can nest the bases for compact storage. This is how they arrived on my doorstep, and I kept the box for when I store them inside the RV. Our smaller (17 ft) hybrid will not challenge the weight limit on these work horses, but your mileage may vary. The lightweight aluminum helps us keep our weight down, moreso since I'll be removing the bent corner stabilizers and back-up non-screw jack stands I was storing in the event of a blowout. Just need to cut some wood bases, or maybe I'll break down and get the Lynx Levelers to use as pads. Overall, they my not be as easy as installed scissor jacks and a cordless drill, but for us this kills a few birds with one quality, inexpensive stone.
5 Stars By Melissa A. Robertson on 2016-05-19 Fixed my problem for cheap and maybe saved my marriage!!! Our travel trailer lacked in adequate factory stabilizing jacks resulting in a very wobbly trailer. This was a real problem if you are sleeping and your wife gets up and walks around... Almost sea sickness. These jacks added the needed stability to save my marriage... Get them...
5 Stars By Brian on 2016-08-18 Perfect camper jack stand! Level, and sturdy no more rocking while walking in my camper. Simple jack stand for my casita camper, they even nest together for compact storage when not in use. I have used these several times while camping and while storing my camper. They are very sturdy and weather resistant and defiantly have a huge range for lift. The best part is that the entire threaded rod comes off the base along with the nut so if you need to extend them or collapse them quickly you can spin the nut to the location you want and then slide it back into the base unit which is much better than having to rotate the hand for large height changes. The only disadvantage is they are not designed to lift the camper up so you have to get it to the hight you want then slide these under.
5 Stars By JIM A on 2017-06-19 it looked like these jacks would do the job at a relatively ... I needed to lift a small structure (4x8 chicken coop) for modification and didn't want to spend a ton of money. After researching options, it looked like these jacks would do the job at a relatively low price point.
The jacks worked perfectly for my application. It took a while, but I raised the coop slowly and evenly using 4x4x10 posts balanced on top of these jack stands, which definitely wasn't what these were intended for (kids, don't try this at home), but took the abuse without complaint. Once a load was on the jacks, I had no noticeable wobble as other reviewers noted, though I wasn't walking around on the coop or wiggling it to test for wobble.
As a bonus, now that I don't need them for their intended purpose or the initial use I had, I can use them for a standing desk build.
3 Stars By bdmeyer on 2018-01-14 Pretty darn small, but well made. Measure first, don't just buy. These are too small to actually be useful on my 29ft travel trailer. They are sturdy. Be certain to measure the height you need before you purchase. I am not rating it a three due to quality, rather many people go straight to 3 star ratings to get away from hater 1 star and fanboy 5 stars and find out what is actually and good and bad about a product. If these will fit, they are likely good for you. I found no quality problems. The center post just pops right out, but once in use the tension/weight will keep everything together.
