Understand what this gun is before you purchase it. If you're looking for a radar that you can sit 30 rows up at a showcase and clock accurate numbers with, this is NOT your gun. This is not a gun for a pro scout, or someone who requires chronograph level accuracy. That being said, for 90 dollars, it gets the job done. As an owner of both this and a Pocket Radar Ball Coach, I can confirm that this gun is +/- 3mph with the Pocket Radar, under the condition that it is aimed precisely. The range is short, but if you can stand directly behind a pitcher, angling slightly downhill on the ball's plane, you will get an accurate reading much of the time. When you miss, you'll know as the reading will be well off. Hitting wise is where you will encounter the most issues. If you're trying to measure ball exit speed of a tee, you need to get on a knee, and aim the gun slightly up, so that the gun will be in line with where the ball will be hit. The battery lasts a long time, and there is no interface to learn, just point and pull the trigger. The gun is sturdy, and doesn't feel like you'll break it if you hold it wrong. All in all it's an excellent starting gun, and if you're buying this for your travel team, personal use, or just for fun, it will get the job done.

Works great, fast to measure and accurate
You know that friend who brags about his car's top speed ? The one who says he takes a certain corner at that speed ? Well they can stand up and prove it to you. I used it for our karts testing, at race tracks, in the neighborhood, etc. Works great, fast to measure and accurate. Awesome toy for an adult :-)

We have a lot of fun with this! We hosted a baseball party and everyone measured their pitch. Based on what I know of my friends' athletic abilities, it was fairly accurate. I recommend.

it's really not worth the money.
It doesn't pickup very well. I've had one before and it was OK. I didn't want to spend $700 more dollars for a 'pro' version so I gave this one a shot. I regret buying it now.

It clocked cars on the highway in front of my house at 30 mph or less, when the speed limit is 55. Very inaccurate for clocking baseball pitches which is what it was purchased for. Very disappointed in this product. I requested a refund, which was granted by AlumiGogo very promptly.

It is finicky, sometimes it works and sometimes not real accurate. You have to be directly in front of the ball to get an accurate speed.

The radar gun has worked well for my volleyball teams, and seems to be getting a very accurate read. Make sure you are directly behind or in front of the individual as directed.
